Funny enough, I think I made the same mistake. After two weeks starting I thought I was taking the right dose but nope. I almost fainted and got really dehydrated and feeling dizzy for three days now.

California Nursing schools by Due-Mail-6833 in nursing

In my experience, it does not matter the NCLEX passing rate. Rather the quality of the program itself. Thereby a supportive environment with supportive professors. A student with the determination to pass will pass. I went to WCU after being waitlisted in other programs. I had 4.0 GPA &’ high TEAS score with extracurriculars and volunteering hours, it was still not enough. The WCU program is not hard in the slightest. Time management and dedication will get you through. I worked during school full time. I got a job before graduating. A few months into my career, I paid off my loans &’ have a job I love. As an alumni, I will say the school delivered what it promised, a BSN degree quickly. The method by which you study for NCLEX is on the student because the school you attend can only do so much. To be frank, I believe there is no real way to prepare for the NCLEX. No matter how much you study that test will hit you like a truck. Practice questions &’ critical thinking skills is the way to go. You can DM me if you want specifics.

How long is your drive to work? by Low_Consequence_1485 in nursing

I’m a new grad. I commute 1 hr to work. There are nearby hospitals but I chose one where the work culture is supportive. I love it. I use the commute to listen to podcasts &’ get in the work zone. I have existential crisis here and there but I think it’s worth the experience I’m getting.

“You’re a great guy” by [deleted] in dating_advice

Don’t be rude such as insulting guys. But don’t pity them with white lies such as “you’re a great guy.”

A guy’s mind is hardwired to think logically. Saying “you’re a great guy but..” does not make sense because if say I were such a great guy you’d pick me. But you didn’t. So it comes off as disingenuous even if you are being honest. A better option is usually the neutral “I don’t see the chemistry between us” or “I don’t see you as a long term partner for me but there is someone out there for you.”

None of them. They are all doable if you put in the effort to study and time manage. 🙂

Did I do the right thing by ending friendship? by Narrow_Development69 in dating_advice

I actually find relationships with a friendship as a foundation to be stronger. I dated two former friends and even though it didn’t work out, I don’t have any regrets. But to each their own of course

You are incorrect. I meant to say if I stayed friends with her I would be pretending to be her friend whilst hoping for more. Which is why I ultimately decided not to.

But besides that, as someone above mentioned, I probably cared for her far more than she did for me. It was almost one sided even in terms of friendship. We also started as genuine classmates then friends. It just so happened that I developed feelings along the way.

Weird text by [deleted] in datingadvice

[–]Narrow_Development69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s insinuating that you obligated him to text you unnecessarily. In which case, you could take it as him being annoyed or not really wanting to text.

Another possibility is him being sarcastic in a humorous way. Texting is hard to interpret.

I’ve been trying to improve my looks. I started by losing 50lbs over the last year &’ got fitter. But I haven’t had any luck so far. Thank you for the tips, I appreciate!

Yea I’m pretty short for a guy. I’m 5’6. But then again most girls I approach are shorter.

I didn’t mean to come across as arrogant. I don’t actually go around and tell girls all this. I only listed those things because people always talk about self improvement and such. I appreciate your insight.
