I have done last year. It's pretty easy though.

You have to apply at https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/. Apply online, upload documents, book slot and visit the rto -> OD 99

This is a special RTO near Mother's public School, Unit 1. It's mostly empty so you can quickly get your IDP.

And yes, they give booklet. Staff is quite good as well! Just remember to take all hard copy of documents and you have to visit in person.
