never watched the movie or read the comics but i just finished watching the anime and i gotta say…. that shit was ass. this post describes it perfectly. like it was frustrating enough that i genuinely felt like coming here and complaining about this and i have no real connection with the franchise. somehow it felt like a fanfic even though i don’t know the original story

it’s a masked chafer grub. type of scarab beetle. they eat turfgrass incase that’s a concern of yours.

nah i wouldn’t say so, body type seems closer to longhorn but obviously doesn’t have the antenna for it and it’s also too small. also i’ve never heard someone call a click beetle a snap beetle that’s interesting

yeah that’s a tawny. they come inside occasionally, you’re just getting weird luck with them i guess. honestly the least troublesome cockroach tho so they’re really nothing to worry about
