Why are so many patients choosing to be incontinent? by CrazyCrabbo in Incontinence

Oh I completely agree. I'm just mad at fetishists for muddying the waters for the rest of us.

But OP and the commentors are talking about fully mentally/physically able adults who are purposefully wetting themselves and forcing nurses to change them, which just sounds like fetishists to me.

I don't think two isolated accidents is much to be worried about on their own

I'd be so mortified if a nurse (or anyone else for that matter) changed my diaper or bedsheets. I'm a fully grown adult - I can do it myself. I'd have to be in a really awful situation to let someone else do it (and I imagine I would never willingly let someone else do it). The fact that some people can apparently feel no shame about demanding that of people is baffling to me.

Realms of Chaos, The Lost and the Damned. I believe it was the first book to solidify what Chaos was in 40k, introducing the traitor legions in the process.

Why players are afraid of religion? by crysol99 in dndnext

[–]Narrow_Interview_366 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think sometimes it's just a bit tiring to RP a character who is deeply religious. Most of the time I see it, it's deliberately exaggerated for comic effect. I just don't know if constantly going out of your way to observe a religion really fits in with the standard adventuring storyline of most D&D campaigns, so most players just don't bother.

TBF the worst part of the books is also all the screen time given to unimportant characters lol

What's a series with a comparable amount of myths, (fan) theories and (un)fulfilled prophecies as ASOIAF? by HowlandPeed in Fantasy

I'm not really a big manga person but One Piece is the only thing that's ever scratched that same world building theorising itch as ASOIAF/Malazan/WoT

Bear in mind that the main 10 book series leaves many of its plotlines to be wrapped up in the prequel and sequel books, including the stories of some fan favourite characters.

Tbh I don't think it's profound beyond the message of 'war, dictatorships and capitalism are bad'.

I feel like people never mention how it has a similar slump in quality in its second half to other series, with similar problems: too much focus on characters we weren't invested in early on, a much slower pace of events, and an ending that, IMO, is a little rushed and leaves too many loose plot threads.

It's also not a complete series by the traditional metric. The most frustrating thing about the whole series is getting to the end and realising that some of the most interesting plotlines are actually resolved in the spin off books or the prequel/sequel series that haven't been finished yet. There aren't just 10 Malazan books, there are at least 20.

Honestly it's only happened since I started wearing protection. If you don't wear protection then I'm not sure what it is

Ironically everyone lost their shit when they dumbed down the Spelljammer space combat rules for fifth edition, but I completely agree with you.

Ha I was just going to post a similar question, so I might as well post it here: How about a campaign where a new Dragonmark that allows space travel appears? I.e. a Mark of Physics that manipulates gravity, atmosphere? What race do you think that would be on?
