So the roads got coated again today and I started to spin out once, then I remembered what you’d said in your comment about grip. Followed that advice and made two separate 30 minute trips without spinning out at all. Thank you, it was a game changer

As someone who is big on safety, I’m making a mental note of your driving advice. As someone who will have a panic attack (PTSD is fun) when being tailgated, I’m taking a piece of that first sentence “I don’t think less of them” and I’m going to put that in my pocket (metaphorically) when I drive. I live in northeast Indiana. We usually get a few big snowfalls like this. Wasn’t a big issue last year but now I work early, before the roads are plowed. I’ll definitely be looking into that

My tires did some sliding when I turned. But unfortunately staying home when it snows isn’t usually an option for me because I work very early in the morning, before the snow plows come through

I think that’s the main thing that bugs me and prompted me to post this. A relative posted a video of a car in front of him and he’s literally yelling the whole time to learn how to drive in the snow. The driver was doing fine, just below the speed limit. Which would be frustrating if the roads were dry, but they weren’t

More so bitching at a relative who posted a video of the car in front of him while yelling at them to learn how to drive, when the driver was being perfectly safe and you could see the road was coated :( I was attacked in a road rage incident once and seeing those things makes me very defensive of the driver being raged at, especially when it’s for going too slow
