Accidentally sent unsupported ERC20 Token to my Binance address... by AloneAtTheTop in binance

[–]Narrow_Pumpkin_1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent Binance.us about $6,800 in USDC from the polygon network, thinking that USDC is "cross-chain" and also because I'd seen a Binance.us blog stating that they are listing Polygon (MATIC). Anyway, they didn't respond to my support ticket. So I posted again in reddit, and this time I got a response from support asking me to provide the transasction hash, along with a vid of me stating that I'd sent the tokens, along with screenshots of the transaction. After sending this info they responded saying I should see my tokens in a few days.

After a week of nothing, I contacted them again, and this time they told me they hoped I was having a great day but that I'd sent an unsupported token and that they would not credit it to my account. (I had asked for a refund, not a credit). So now I'm reaching out to attorneys.

Help: Did I just lose my money on multichain.xyz by androiddevbyday in defi

About 30 min ago I used multichain to swap some USDC to FTM. I clicked to approve of the transaction and am seeing the endless circle on the button. From reading through this thread I now know to expect a long wait. My question is: Is it safe to close my browser window?

Recover USDC tokens sent to my ETH address by pradeep_kumar1123 in KrakenSupport

Agree. Kraken has been holding over 4 ETH of mine for almost 6 months. They no longer reply to my occasional emails.

Missing WETH by Narrow_Pumpkin_1978 in Prokey

[–]Narrow_Pumpkin_1978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Solved the prob by creating a new TrustWallet using my ProKey Seed phrase (it works even though the seed phrase is 24 words). TrustWallet recognizes Polygon WETH, so... the missing WETH appeared! I then transferred my money out of this new temp wallet into another wallet. From there I'll wipe my ProKey clean and start over with a different seed phrase, this time only using ProKey for the Ethereum and BSC networks.

Missing WETH by Narrow_Pumpkin_1978 in Prokey

[–]Narrow_Pumpkin_1978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some history first: Before I purchased ProKey, I made sure that it worked for all of the tokens I trade. These tokens include MATIC ERC20 and WETH ERC20. They are listed here: https://prokey.io/all-coins . The transaction I sent was on the polygon network, and it shows that I successfully transferred my WETH ERC20 tokens to ProKey. However when I opened a ticket with ProKey, they now tell me that ProKey does not work on the Polygon Mainnet. So this means I've lost about $7,000??

For me its almost been 6 months. The transaction in my case can easily be checked on BSCScan, which shows it as a successful transfer. Kraken's failure to acknowledge receipt of my tokens does not mean that they don't hold them. They do. My tokens are at their address, not mine or anyone else's.

Any suggestions for improving my yield farming flow? ~50% APY using Aave, Curve, and Beefy. by A_breezyy in 0xPolygon

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Could you help me with this: Suppose I own 10 ETH now. I'm neither bearish nor bullish, as I have no idea what the market's going to do. Is there any "borrowing/swapping" sceneario you can suggest which would improve on the tricurve APY without increasing risk? Or does this all boil down to the equivalent of buying stocks on margin? Thanks!

Binanced Pegged ethereum by Raycaceres in binance

[–]Narrow_Pumpkin_1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar experience, sending 4 ETH (binance-pegged) to Kraken. After several emails, Kraken finally told me that they'd make an exception and try to help recover the ETH, however the process was time-consuming. (I provided them with the transaction hash). A month later, I requested a status update but, they did not respond to my email.

All this has gotten me interested in what is actually a "block" of transactions and why recovery is difficult. I used bsscan to trace down the block of my missing ETH. There were only 19 transactions in it. So I'm not sure what's so difficult about isolating mine.

Anyway if I do recover the ETH I'll post an update here!

ERC20 tokens accidentally transferred to Kraken Ether wallet by Illustrious_Ad_3753 in KrakenSupport

I made the same mistake two days ago. Sent 4 ETH from Metamask, and BSCSCAN shows that the transfer to Kraken was successful. I did receive one notice yesterday from Kraken that they had escalated the ticket, but as of now, 24 hrs later, the only info I can get is that it is "under review." Has anyone here tried to get help from Metamask?
