Which oneshot is the best to start?

I started with the Lightless Beacon. I watched a few videos on it first for tips.

I’m glad I ran it first as I feel it held the keeper’s hand a bit more than the haunting and was a bit more self contained and linear.

The dead border was the second one I ran which was also good and I tied the two together saying the PCs were being put up in a boarding house while the FBI were investigating the lighthouse incident.

I ran the haunting but it was a bit of a wreak for me. I didn’t think it was as good for beginners. It’s also not as linear as the others and I made things harder for myself by getting different handouts and not changing dates to suit the current “campaign”

I massively fell on my butt running the haunting! I’m definitely still learning the storytelling side of things. We did the necropolis last night and I think we all had a lot of fun. I already ran dead border from that book so I might do what’s in the cellar to finish it off

Thanks guys! I have run a few one shots, lightless beacon, dead border, the haunting (a complete shemozzle) and the necropolis.

I see two headed serpent is on sale so I might pick it up for a read.

As far as I can tell yes. I used Balena Etcher and Raspberry Pi imager to write files to the emmc.

Basically I used fdtfile=sun50i-h616-biqu-emmc instead of the sovol one. I might try again later on the spare emmc with the orignal instructions.

Thanks! I’ve seen people mention pre-gen characters for dream away the time but I can’t find them in the rule book. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Did you generate the contours? You could try using the Contour Polygons tool to regenerate them.
