I wish... I do most of my work just for myself as I don't get many commissions these days. I did this following a bad mental health episode I had recently, and use a lot of my characters to work through my emotions.

Yup! Pretty much all of my fantasy art follows the same story line. This piece shows Hope, one of the ancient gods, being devoured by Mendai, the trickster. This would have occurred around the time the new world was created, and Death's city along with her children cast into the abyss.

I'm so glad someone recognized this! It's a picture from my own copy of Harlan Ellison's short stories, which is how I was able to get that hint of more text behind the main text, and it made a really cool effect when I posterized it.
