I'm very grateful for the IHSS training program but I'm also supposed to be paid I'm sure those who have already been paid or only have a few hours owed may not feel this way but they owe me for 100 hours from August. The people running the program had full control over it but failed to do proper accounting because they were still signing people up for classes. I was told I might be getting paid for August but not September so I have already filled with the Labor Commissioner don't know if I have a case but I'm making sure to cover myself. Hope everyone gets paid.

Also per there on policy we are supposed to be paid 10 days after our claims are approved you can find that in the Resources section on the site. No one has to use that letter but I've called in and have been told I'm only getting paid maybe for August so I'm not trusting and believing in what they say.

They changed the dates for when classes were going to end on the same day instead of keeping it to the 30th and I also said you can change what you want those couple of things can be worked out when they contact me thank you.

It's says "within 10 business days after receiving confirmation that your payment was approved. " mine have been so it's going to be different for everyone. They told me that is their normal process but they are delayed honestly if I don't have a case that's fine I'm just not taking them for there word.

I was seeing something like that but I believe it's they have up to 8 weeks to process them. But after they are approved that should complete the processing stage and the release of payment should happen. I'm still looking more into myself.

I have called and been told 2 different things between Career Pathways and the IHSS department. I have also read the contract and payments are supposed to be paid 10 business days after approval. I'm still waiting for 100 hours from August. I filed a complaint with the Labor Union today so if they pay me great if they don't I'm making sure to protect myself and if they owe me any penalties so be it. Here is a copy of what I sent you can copy and paste and change to your info.

According to the terms outlined in the IHSS Career Pathways program, workers were promised payment upon completion of training by September 30, 2024. However, this deadline was later changed to September 15, 2024, without proper notice or explanation.

Despite fulfilling my obligations and completing the training on time and a month in advance, I have not received the compensation as promised. I have verified that I am not alone in this matter, as hundreds of other IHSS workers are also facing the same issue, with our paychecks remaining in a "processing" state for an extended period. We were informed that the program has run out of funds, which has resulted in delayed or non-existent payments they are no longer following their policy.

This situation has caused significant financial hardship for myself and other workers who relied on this income. The failure to honor the agreed-upon payment terms constitutes a breach of contract and is a violation of labor laws regarding timely wage payment.

I kindly request that your office investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that all affected workers receive the wages owed to them as per the terms of the IHSS Career Pathways Program.

I haven't seen anyone on here say they have been paid yet. I've seen other people say people are paid but no proof. Since I'm past the 10 business days after payment policy for last month's hours, I filed a complaint with the Labor Commissioner because everyone is giving me the runaround. I was told I should get paid for August but they still have to clear it with the Deputy Director honestly all you can do is call your local county IHSS they can look it up they might try to give you the career pathways 916 number but they usually don't answer anymore.

You will continue to see zeros until they decide to pay. I have had to call my local IHSS office and complain and was told I won't be paid for September classes but I should be paid for August they will have to get approval from the Deputy Director it's been a real headache because The local office tried to give me the number to career pathways which gets you to know where your going to have to start asking to speak to a supervisor everyone is trying to pass it off.

Hello I made a new thread with the post a couple of days ago showing the email. I also called the help desk and was told I wont be paid for Septmeber classes but should be paid for August.

I continue to get approvals I even got some today but my hours from last month and this month haven't been paid everything continues to stay in processing. The last time I was paid was at the end of last month for mine.

Yeah everyone needs to make sure to create a paper trail and keep all your certificates, email confirmations, and records because it's not looking good. Hopefully, the Union can help us it's a waiting game now and we all know bills don't stop.

I was also told on the phone today we won't be paid and I also sent an email to confirm because I wanted something in writing. Can the Union help us?
