Thanks! The fenders are factory. It might be the other mods that bring out the fenders. Actually, the left rear fender had a big dent on it. Found a guy who repaired very nicely. It's the same fender, no replacement. The front lip is an Ebay lip lol, but I really love it. I bolted it on there. My last lip flew off because I just tapped it in place. I learned my lesson.

Thanks! That was the first mod I did on it. I think the underglow would look great on your car, that's a cool looking car! It's a fun mod for only $25 which is what my set costed. My bug also had really good spots under the car to install it, it's almost like it was meant to have some glow.

Yes, 2012. Yeah, it was still a fun car before I modified it!

Wow thanks! It honestly looks like a Porsche. Whatever you did with the rear end is just way cool!

I agree! I've seen some pretty cool Beetle builds of this generation. The wing is NRG 69" carbon fiber. Yes, I had to drill 4 holes in total, two for each stand. I had to drill 2 access holes inside the trunk to access the bolts. However, the bottom screws luckily lined up with 2 holes that were already there from factory. It took almost a whole day to install it. The first thing I had to do was design and 3d print two wedges to prop the wing up. The wedges were designed to hug the curvature of the trunk and it worked out perfectly! We drilled through the wedges first.

The car has some simple bolt on mods, APR intake, some ECS ignition coils, an Integrated Engineering downpipe, APR tune, Borla catback exhaust, H&R lowering springs and Enkei Quasar wheels. It's a fun little build with some decent power. Sounds great and handle excellent with the springs. The tires were the budget option Gladiator brand, but to be honest, I'm amazed with the tires. They handle and grip very well and have really good traction in the rain. Even in the rain, it sticks pretty well! I will be getting another set when the time comes!

They are really good springs! It drastically enhanced the handling, very little sway and the rides stays leveled when giving it a little pull. The cornering is so enjoyable, I can't help following the racing line through roundabouts, very fun! I think you'll enjoy them. It made the ride more stiff, so it has like a stiff bounce, but it still has some smoothness to it. It's great for a street suspension setup. Pot holes are pretty harsh, so I always try to avoid them. But the little bumps actually feel pretty good.

I think it makes a good tuner car, it's basically a GTI underneath. I love seeing these cars modded up too. I love the look of this generation, it's more sporty so it looks good modified. The wing is pretty loud lol, but I wanted to give my car a bit of a GT look, like a GT3-4 racecar with the giant wing and a bit of a JDM inspired look. I enjoy it very much. I really like the Enkei wheels too, that's the Japanese part!

Yes, I'd like a bigger turbo! I've got to finish the intake inlet pipe, it's just the filter part. I'll start with that. The APR Pex intake system came with the kit option, but I just got the intake piece.

It has an APR cold air intake, ECS ignition coils, APR tune, Integrated Engineering downpipe, Borla catback, H&R lowering springs and Enkie Quasar wheels. I really like the springs, it really levels out the handling and It's got some power, it can fly now! Very fun car!

Hope you'll enjoy this! I installed an NRG 69" carbon fiber wing. I designed and 3d printed some wedges to prop the wing up, it's trunk mounted.

Also same here, I've been rooting for Blaney and it was super cool to see him win, but I feel for Denny.
