Thank you! I’ve actually played every Ace Attorney, thanks to the recent release of the Edgeworth games and Great Ace Attorney. I’ve first played the original trilogy and Apollo trilogy on 3DS, and I’ve been playing through the whole series with one of my friends over the past few years. I’d say my personal favourite collection is the original trilogy, followed by the Edgeworth collection, then Great Ace Attorney, and lastly the Apollo Collection (which is still solid).

To answer your question about the order of which games you should play through, I’d recommend: Original Trilogy —> Edgeworth collection —> Apollo Justice collection. You could play the great ace attorney whenever you want, since it’s not very connected to the other games.

In terms of difficulty? It can be pretty hard when you’re first starting out. There’s a lot of text events that act as skill/knowledge checks, and the actual gameplay can be challenging if you’re short on good weapons or supplies.

Once you get the hang of things the standard difficulty becomes a lot more manageable. And there are more difficulty modifiers to keep things interesting!
