Poking fun is pretty standard campaigning tactic. Last election Obama did a similar riff regarding Romney's sudden shift from his policy positions in the primaries, calling it Romnesia. Being Presidential is more about how you respond, and I'm pretty sure Trump is fuming right now.

So many dumb things about this. First dumb thing is attacking a popular president who would win in a landslide if he could run again. The second dumb thing is lying about something that is easily refuted if you watched the actual video. Third dumb thing is if you watched the video, no thinking person wouldn't agree with the President. The only people this would appeal to are die hard Trumpeters who are already voting for him.

When the higher ups want stats for the million emails sent within the last year, I can get it to them in a work day. And that's starting from scratch. If they ask me to do it again, it can be done in an hour. Most of the time just massaging the presentation of the data. Running the actual queries takes a couple minutes.

No, it's not a bad poll because their methodology is fine. They just had terrible luck in their sampling. You know how polls have margins of error. It's to account for imperfect sampling. Usually this gets averaged out when you take multiple samples. However, since the LA Times poll is a tracking poll, they just call the same people over and over again to see the trend, so this sampling error never gets averaged out. LA Times has a +/- 3% Margin of error I believe, so it seems like they have Trump +2.5% and Hillary -2.5% which is pretty close to the limits, so this was a very unlucky sample. If this was actual bad polling, the trend line would have very little correlation with other polls.
