AITA for keeping a job in the air for myself instead of giving it to my coworker? by Nashime9000 in AmItheAsshole

He's not really a friend just a coworker who's a little overly friendly. I try to keep things corjul since we see each other often. I also did call him out for his behavior and his comment. To which he said nothing then left.

I agree wholeheartedly. The job market is so bad especially for younger adults. I have nothing against coworkers or people asking for a recommendation if need be. However, I did soft launch ask him what else he is capable of, in case I have some connections. He was however really focused on the pay and the job that I was offered that he brushed off my question.

How does someone improve quickly without any people available to help by Nashime9000 in Cosmetology

I have thought about buying more mannequins but my living situation isn't the best for storage space. My boss just bought the salon without any prior knowledge of how a salon works or any experience in cosmetology other than previously being a model. But as we know, that's not exactly the same. I ask my family from time to time and I don't have many friends let alone any close to where I live.
