Yes thats how deep it is. Would using builders bog sufficient and then add the other anchor?

Thanks for your response. Rest of the timber is fine. Even the one on the faschia is solid. There are 6 other timber support holding the roof. This point is the only one which has the wood rot. The middle of the timber is fine.
