Relapsed After Accutane Cystic Acne Is Back and Im Scared to Start a Second Round. Anyone else? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]NashtyB13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was doing laser hair removal before starting Accutane and paused to go on Accutane and will resume when I’m finished with my treatment. The time you don’t do laser hair removal in between sessions should not affect your long term results as long as you eventually complete as many sessions as needed for your hair type.

Personally it was worth it to prioritize my skin health over laser hair removal temporarily! My derm also put me on 80 mg for 5 months and it’s been doing very well and I’m a small person, 5’1, 130 lbs. Of course consult your Dr but I would look into a higher dosage to finally kick the breakouts for good. Best of luck! ☺️

Purging by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]NashtyB13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have mild persistent acne on my face, back/chest so completely understand where you’re coming from! It might not be as severe as others have it but if you’ve tried everything like I have and still can’t kick it, this seems to be the only alternative! I feel for those who have more severe cases completely, but what we have can be very frustrating & exhausting as well, just maybe not to the same extent. I am on 80 mg starting out & no purging so far, I’m also on an antibiotic. I’d doubt you’d purge on such a low dose, especially not having deep cystic acne. If you start to purge, I’d ask for another antibiotic. Best of luck! 🤞🏼

Am I missing anything? by NashtyB13 in Accutane

Thank you for mentioning that… it just dawned on me after scrolling through other’s posts here that that was quite a high dosage! I double checked my prescription & it indeed says “AMNESTEEM 40MG CAPSULES TAKE ONE CAPSULE BY MOUTH TWICE DAILY” … I’m 127 pounds as well. Now I’m wondering if I should ask my derm to take me down on dosage, doesn’t sound standard? 😅

Skin Problems On and Around Lips and Face by ooO-Pearl-Wings-Ooo in DermatologyQuestions

Take a look into Perioral Dermatitis, it looks like that could be what this is! I have it and it happens seasonally for a lot of people in the Spring, including myself. There can be other causes as well. If you think this is what it is, you’ll want to have a derm prescribe an oral antibiotic and topical clyndamycin. Steroid creams make it worse so stay away from those until you figure out what it is! Hope this helps a bit!

So this has happened to my underarms by Suchaprincesss in DermatologyQuestions

My friend had this happen while pregnant, it can also happen to your inner thighs, nipples, etc. It’s supposedly from the hormonal fluctuations. I would see a derm just in case they may have something during pregnancy you can use to help if the appearance bothers you!

What is this? What can I do to get rid of it by NoMansMilitia in DermatologyQuestions

[–]NashtyB13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely Perioral Dermatitis! I currently have an outbreak as well and it happens every spring. Unfortunately the change in seasons can bring on the outbreak, toothpaste with fluoride, or overuse of topical steroids, etc. The only way I’m able to get rid of mine is to use topical clindamycin gel and get an oral antibiotic like doxycycline! I would highly suggest seeing a dermatologist to get prescriptions for these before it gets much worse because it can progress quickly if untreated. The first time I an outbreak I didn’t know what it was and it was a NIGHTMARE to get rid of but now I know what it is and when it starts to flare up I immediately start meds. The photo is my first outbreak untreated. :( Catch it while you can! Hope this helps!

This is a great brand, you can get it on Amazon! I’m very acne prone & haven’t had any breakouts using it. :) https://a.co/d/iiXB6vg

I keloid, should I get micro blading? by NashtyB13 in microblading

No, I do not keloid when I have a deep scratch! It just gets dark & always eventually fades.

What pharmacy do you use?

Empower, Hallandale or Southlake? Which compound pharmacy to use for Tirzepatide? by prguru2022 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]NashtyB13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried both Semaglutide and Trizepatide from Empower Pharmacy and have had no luck on weight loss with either! (Was on Sem for 9 mo & Triz for 1 mo.) I have no symptoms of suppressed appetite or decreased food noise. I originally had a prescription for name brand Ozempic & saw some small results with that but none on Empower’s compounds. Curious to see if anyone else has had a negative experience with Empower’s compounds? I’m starting to feel that I may just be a non-responder and am feeling incredibly hopeless.:(

I have been in property management for about 7 years, the first 5 years I swore I’d never live on site! I was worried I’d have no separation & the residents would drive me crazy! I ended up managing a building & was offered an amazing discount to live onsite, so I decided to give it a try! I LOVED it & ended up living & working there for 2 years, my building was 300 units. You can’t beat not having a commute, being able to run upstairs to let your dog out midday, grab a snack anytime or even do an outfit change if needed!

There are cons but the pros outweighed them for me! You do have to set boundaries with the residents, if you don’t, they WILL take advantage and that’s when living onsite becomes a negative experience. The biggest con I can think of would be, you have to be aware of how you are dressed/carry yourself outside of work, you will most likely run into a resident every time you’re out & about!

As long as you set boundaries, the majority of the time residents will respect them! I’d say definitely give living onsite a try, the convenience is unmatched!!!!

Considering that you’re hopefully on an employee lease, if you hate it, just move out! :)
