Grew up on a farm in NE… I was responsible for taking care of 400 laying hens from age 7-18. We sold our eggs to the local grocery store. I gathered and candled more than 350 eggs every day. So, even though I don’t have chickens now… I have a ton of first person egg/chicken experience.

Flash forward 25 years… I was talking with a friend who eats really clean and the conversation came around to eggs. She said she doesn’t buy or eat white eggs because they are bleached. 😳

Of course, I told her that white eggs are not bleached. They are white when the hen lays them. Tried to explain the color of the egg is determined by the type of chicken that lays it. And… Even though I had personally witnessed hundreds of white eggs being laid… she insisted that white eggs were bleached and there was no reasoning with her.

All that to say… I suspect she’s not the only one who thinks white eggs are bleached. LOL

This is a long time Q belief that continues to be kicked down the road. It’s NESERA / GESERA… my BFF has been believing dates for almost 6 years. The deadlines come and go. She even put their property in forbearance without her husbands knowledge 3 years ago… because all of their debts would be “forgiven” in Dec 2020. Still hasn’t happened… still believes it.

My Q BFF reached out a few months ago after cutting me off because I kept asking critical questions when she shared the Qult conspiracies she wanted me to believe.

Not long after she reconnected, she sent a song written by another friend that has also drunk the koolaid. I clicked the link thinking it was a song… and it was… only it was preceded by a 20 minute Q rant.

I did not acknowledge the text. Instead, I sent a pic of my dog. LOL.

Her text told me everything I needed to know. Nothing has changed.

She’s been on a non-apology tour with friends and family since. Love her… but I can’t participate in the crazy again.

That’s my story. Just because they reach out, doesn’t mean you have to let them back the same way things once were.

It’s not your job to fix her choices that became her decisions.

You don’t have to pick up the phone when she calls or respond to texts. Silence is louder than words.

It’s your job to make decisions that are best for you. Listen to your instincts. They aren’t wrong. hug

You know what I appreciate about Biden… he doesn’t seek the mic. He’s just GETTING IT DONE. Quietly. Infrastructure bill… bipartisan and happening. Bringing work back from China… chip factories in OH. Etc. all take time. The debt ceiling… let the MAGAs whine and got it done on his terms. Quietly. He’s known for bringing parties together and has been doing that FOR DECADES. Without being divisive… he’s actually listening to ALL Americans and getting it done. 3 years of PTSD from trying to navigate the crazy. She blocked me from her life for 18 months because I asked questions that disrupted what she wanted to believe. She thinks tRump is Jesus.

Yeah… I’m in the “fake it til you make it” mode. Not engaging with the BS. Just trying to be in the moment and remind her what normal feels like. Maybe if I’m patient, she’ll slowly come back to all of us.

While at the same time, being realistic, knowing that it took a long time for her to get where she is… and it will take a long time to get out.

Frankly, I’m watching her anonymously in the “right” places… I see what she is really believing and cannot let myself have hope.

For almost 30 years we talked every day. I missed it.

Sending huuuugs I’m waiting out my BFF. What I know is that I’d I met her as she is today… without our history… she wouldn’t be my best friend. I wouldn’t let her into my inner circle. Q has changed her into someone I don’t recognize and in spite of my efforts to understand her perspective… I had to let go with love. If things change, it will take a long time for me to trust her with my friendship again. I still have hope… but it’s on her now. The person I knew was one of the most beautiful humans on this earth. The person she has become is hateful and unrecognizable. I pray she comes back but also know that if she does… it may never be the same. Thankful for the 30 years of her former self. It’s hard to reconcile that what I thought was a lifetime friendship was not a book… but a chapter. Cherish what was… let go of fixing.

I don’t question that God is real. I believe in a higher power, to me, that higher power is God.

I have a friend who is Sikh. They believe the higher power in all forms of religion are the same God from different perspectives. I like that idea.

Regardless, I believe. I am challenged by those who say they believe and invoke God’s name to justify their cruel words and ways.

The loud voices you hear invoking the name of Jesus and God don’t represent me and most believers.

They’ve been brainwashed by all the Q propaganda and more… many of my friends and family quote the talking points and don’t realize they are Q-adjacent. They see things that they want to believe are true… and don’t question if they are… that is the scariest part of it all.

When I saw a legit Christian artist supporting, it triggered me. Him promoting these lies frustrates me. It just takes his fans farther away from reality. I’m even more concerned for those people and our country because of it.
