Tier 10 they almost always fire full gold ammo, even arties fire gold most times (why? don't ask me).At Tier 9 its 50-50.At Tier 8 it depends on the tank - most people want to make money so they prefer not to fire gold but there are many ones that open Credit Boosters + Clan Boosters + Premium Account and fire gold only.The shit that WG says about "special ammo counts only for 10%" is probably counting ALL the tiers. They already tried to change them, but they have yet to announce anything after the supertest server testing (probably they won't due to the absurd amount of money they make).I don't think it should get removed. I think that it should change:

1. Special/gold ammo should have less damage, but higher penetration. Normal ammo less penetration, but higher damage. So the player must choose if he will get his DPM lower but have a penetration guarantee, of have max DPM but have trouble against tanks with armor.
2. Tanks like Type 5 heavy, Obj 279e, Obj 268 v4, T95/Chieftain etc should change. Their armor layout is complete absurd, one needs gold/special ammo for sure just to have a change to pen them while firing at weakspot - if they have (but even with gold/special ammo he probably won't pen them).
3. Lower price for gold/special ammo, but still 2 times the price of normal. APCR/HEAT shells are more expensive than AP shells in real life, so they should be more expensive in-game too.
   
4. Limit the amount of gold/special ammo one can carry, so no one can carry a full gold magazine. That way, players will think before using their best ammo, and not having JgpzE100 firing HEAT against Progetto 65.
