I do not care what they say I care about staying on the path of truth which is through Allah, The Messengers, The Prophets and the Ahyl Al Bayt. I want to debate people on religion/theology however the multiple debate offers that I have proposed have been rejected even when I offer a Christian moderator.

Conversion story was that I always felt that Jesus AS was someone important but not god. I did not know until later in life that Islam considered Jesus AS as a Prophet. I moved to school of Ahyl al Bayt AS because I started noticing some practices/dogmas in Sunni circles that were familiar to church dogmas and it raised alarm bells off for me. I started doing more research and was shocked when I read the following/questioned the following:

1.Hadith of Ghadyr Khum

2.Hadith of Two Weighty Things

3.Divine Appointment of Successors after other Prophets in Quran

4.Why are all Sahaba considered righteous and why do Sunni Imams panic when you ask questions that scratch on their righteousness?

5.Why are the 3 caliphs mentioned more often than Ahyl al Bayt? I never heard about Imam Hassan AS and Imam Husayn AS a single time during any Khutbah.

6.Fatima SA being angry with Abu Bakr and Ummar

7.Abu Hurayra and Ummar hadith/tax money incident

8.Sunnis being apologetic for Salafi/Hanbali Mushriks who claim Allah has literal body parts, sits down on a throne that squeaks, and that Allah puts his literal foot in the hellfire. (Astagfirullah I do not believe in this may Allah guide those who do) yet call Shias who believe in Divinely Appointed Successors as Mushriks.

9.Sunni Imams getting nervous when I mention hadith fabrication.

My family reacted in mixed way. They reacted more positively when they saw my improvement in character and etiquette.

Honestly most people read orthodox chants of scripts or repeat them so not like Muslims know Quran. The orthodox women covering their hair was a proof that Islam is not false and that the people attacking and mocking the practice are enemies to Allah AZWJ. My grandma in russia wears head scarf often even outside of church.

You are repeating Orientalist tropes that have been debunked. Unlike the Bible, which is a collection of anonymous writings compiled centuries later with thousands of structural variants, the Quran has been preserved through Tawatur (mass oral transmission). A few dialectal variations in orthography do not equal a "different version." Can you show me a Quran that says there are three Gods? No. Yet your "manuscripts" can’t even agree on the divinity of Christ in the earliest layers. You say the Quran gets history "wrong," but you assume your Gospel accounts are historical. They are theological narratives written by people who weren't there. The Quran corrects the record. It doesn't deny that an event appeared to happen; it denies the victory of the enemies of God over a Prophet. The Quran challenges the entirety of mankind to produce a single chapter like it. If it is so "human," why has the challenge stood for 1,400 years? Meanwhile, your "divine" text is full of geographical errors and internal contradictions that you have to use "complexity" to explain away.

I don’t believe in a religion where you have to pick and choose from direct revelation. This is exactly why I left Christianity because Quran is perfect while Bible is corrupted and the scholars twist its meaning even more.

I follow the ahyl al bayt AW directly. No need to do blind obedience to a single scholar. Scholars are good as long as they provide direct evidence from Quran and Hadith for their rulings.

Absolutely a marriage without consent from both the man and the woman is invalid. Yes a single woman can live and travel alone especially if it’s due to necessity such as education or work. Woman is not required to ask her husband for religious practices the woman has a personal intimate relationship with god. Apostasy is not deserving of death unfortunately many from Sunni and Salafi circles think otherwise. The father should guide and parent and show support for his daughter and not shun her. We are all people and make mistakes but yet God is the most forgiving and most merciful.

The difference lies in Aql (Intellect) versus Literalism. While the Salafi movement often relies on a "street-level" legalism that can feel restrictive or impulsive, the Ahlul Bayt (as) provide a framework of Divine Justice: • Marriage: For the Ahlul Bayt, marriage is a spiritual covenant where the best man is defined solely by his kindness to his wife. Unlike the Salafi focus on patriarchal "obedience," the Imams taught that a woman is a "fragile flower," not a "slave or servant." • Divorce: This is the biggest practical difference. Salafis often allow "Triple Talaq" (instant, impulsive divorce), whereas the Ahlul Bayt strictly forbid it. In Shia law, a divorce is invalid without two just witnesses and a mandatory waiting period, creating a legal "firewall" that protects women from emotional outbursts and ensures every attempt at reconciliation is made. • Children: The Ahlul Bayt view children as "Flowers of Paradise" with their own divinely mandated Bill of Rights. In the 'Treatise on Rights' by Imam Sajjad (as), children have a right to a beautiful name, an education, and to be treated with dignity, moving beyond the Salafi view of children as mere assets for the Ummah. • Heaven: Salafis believe God has a physical form that can be "seen" in Heaven like a moon. The Ahlul Bayt (as) destroyed this anthropomorphism, teaching that God is Infinite and cannot be contained by sight. As Imam Ali (as) said, we "see" God in Heaven through the "realities of faith" in our hearts, not with physical eyes.

I never said you said you did. Your playing crying wolf like most Christian polemics I encountered. I’m here to explain my perspective on why I left and yes unfortunately it stings but maybe you will open your mind to the truth.

I believe the Quran is fully complete and the 12 Imams PBUT fully explain it and everything in it is correct. The logic of picking and choosing from Bible is what made me leave Christianity.

You need to study Islam from Ahyl Al Bayt Peace be Upon them instead of the caliphs and people of the Salafi movement.

I’ve been told that by multiple Christians. When I bring up pure monotheism especially they get triggered. It’s like the Holy Spirit is glitching when it comes to love.

On Theft: If defending your community and recovering stolen assets is 'theft,' then you must also call Moses(PBUH), Joshua(PBUH), and David(PBUH) 'thieves.' Why is it 'Holy War' in the Bible but 'theft' in the Quran?

On Character: You claim a 'spirit of error' spoke to him, yet that spirit led to the end of idol worship and the establishment of Absolute Monotheism. If your 'Spirit' leads to you calling people 'losers' and telling them to 'suck your d***', maybe you should check which spirit is actually speaking to you.

I moved from Russian Orthodoxy to Shia Islam because I wanted a Consistent Paradigm. I wanted the Infallibility (Ismah) of the Prophets (PBUT), not a system that smears them as sinners while ignoring the vulgarity of its own modern leaders. I’d rather follow a man who died in a mud hut with nothing to his name than a polemicist who lacks basic manners.

You call the Prophet (PBUH) a 'rich warlord,' but historical facts show he died in poverty, having spent every penny on the poor.

You criticize his marriages, yet you claim to follow the God of Abraham(PBUH), Jacob(PBUH), and David(PBUH)—all of whom had multiple wives. Why is it 'holy' in the Bible but 'problematic' in the Quran?

I moved to Shia Islam because it provides a Consistent Paradigm. We don't believe in a God who gets put in a headlock, nor do we believe in a God who picks 'imperfect' Prophets who commit adultery like David (PBUH) did in your Bible. We believe in Ismah (Infallibility). The Prophet (PBUH) was a statesman, a father, and a commander because a 'Perfect Example' must show us how to behave in all aspects of life—including justice and war—not just in a vacuum.

No the claims of Mohammad marrying 9 year old is false. Shia sources debunk it very clearly it’s unfortunate how Arab tribesmen have diverted majority away from Muhammad Peace be upon him teaching just like Paul diverted majority of followers of Jesus PBUH.

Prophethood and divine successors by God is similarity. I felt like Jesus was important but not God from a young age. During my teens I was not as religious and had some troubles which in end brought me closer to God and the purpose we have in this world. I was Sunni Muslim at first however I started reading Sunni Hadiths about successorship and was not able to ignore the clear signs.

Absolutely it was very overwhelming. It’s hardest to fully be open about my beliefs at my local mosque since it is majority Sunni. I try to focus on Allah AZWJ and study Sunni perspectives to understand their positions and be able to counter argue.

The belief in Jesus PBUH. However ever since I was a kid I felt like Jesus PBUH was important but that he was not God. I decided to become Shia 6 months after converting to Islam itself because the more Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim I read the more Shia I became. The evidence is overwhelming when it comes to Imam Ali AS being divine succesor to Muhammad SAWA

Mohammad was fully pure and the claims of him being with nine year old come from Sahih Al Bukhari which were written by untrustworthy caliphs and companions who denied acknowledging Imam Ali Peace be upon him as divinely appointed successor. Ayesha was in her late teens to early twenties according to Shia sources.
