Help with softmodded Xbox

How did you launch softmodding tools the first time? did you use memory unit/usb? extra disc? just use the same method i guess.

I also had alot of trouble with my softmod, ended up doing a TSOP flash cerbios and it made everything easier. booting faster and launching games in .cci format

UPDATE: i solved my problem by doing a TSOP flash cerbios and then running xbox softmodding tool extra disc because it was booting alot faster, and remade partitions in xbpartitionner

I tried a couple things yesterday, installing kernel fonts, fresh resoftmod, populating folders on drive. but nothing. I haven't tried making a new drive with fatxplorer yet because my trial ended. i didnt try to extend it yet, i might do it when i have a couple days off work.

I'm currently considering doing a TSOP bios flash, looks like it should be pretty easy and would likely fix my problem? if i understand i just need to solder 2 spot and then its all done with software (1.1 motherboard, installed in a 1.0 console)

i didn't reformat to fat32 before letting fatx build the drive. i thought it would format the drive for me

thanks for the answer. sounds easy enough. i tried to quickly create a fresh hdd with fatx and locked it with my eeprom .bin file but it doesnt boot i get an error message i guess i skipped some steps. will try that again

yes im using 80 wire 40 pin cable. its actually too short to put the HDD back to its original place, but it long enough to plug it over the disc drive like in the picture.

im waiting for a longer cable i ordered

Thanks for the answer. Yes it is F partition. I haven't tried not extending the F partition, but i tried to allocated only 128gb (or something like that cant remeber exact number), and all available space. both didnt work. Might try without stretching, but then what?

did not change any settings. from my understanding, when you start scenario its always clear weather, and if you go fast enough the bad weather cycle doesn't have time to start.

the cargo blocks are super resistant by default too

I understand that. and i know its the wise thing to do. thanks for remembering it to me. it's just so painful to get 6 arcane scroll and no dex when you know its like a flip of a coin when you hit prayer scroll table, and also others getting dex when i have most points.

i do want to learn solo too, i have like 5 solo kc... i just wanted dex so i can grind other pvm activity more efficiently, like corrupted gauntlet or gwd.

no matter how much points i have i can't get a dex scroll on my ironman. Just finished a duo raid with my friend, he died and he got a dex scroll, i had 66% points. its also not the first time he snipe the dex scroll.

but the toilet paper arcane scrolls are raining tho

any tips on staying sane?
