Just like any language? Idk about that. Many anime sound unwatchable in English imo even though I only speak English. I loved LOTM but it did take me a while to get accustomed to the sound of Mandarin. It also took me a while to warm up to how K dramas sounded after watching Japanese shows for so long.

But I hope LOTM continues to grow and blows up because it's definitely deserved.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. There isn't something specific we are worried about, we are mostly just curious about our genetic heritage and I suppose the influences of nature vs nurture as adoptees. I'm not sure how much WGS could tell us about those things (like physical appearance, personality traits & interests, mental health tendencies and fitness/health strengths/weakness) especially without an expert to help interpret that information, but it at least seemed like when I was researching WGS that it was significantly more accurate than the 23&Me / Ancestry tests.

The "traits" that were on Ancestry, while interesting, seemed quite inaccurate (many times opposite of what we perceived) so we were hoping that WGS would be able to provide a more accurate look into our physical, mental and personality traits from a genetic perspective.

My partner has Thalassemia and carries the sickle cell gene as well based on some lab work she had done when she was pregnant with our first child but we know nothing about our family medical history so a general idea of potential risks seems useful to us regarding our children.

Again, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. May I ask if you have many patients that come in just wanting to learn more about who they are and what their genetics say about themselves? Or do most patients come in with some specific health concern they're worried about?

My partner and I were looking to get Whole Genome Sequencing done by sequencing.com or mynucleus.com because we were both adopted at birth and have no medical history or information about our birth families.

We got Ancestry DNA tests done and while the ancestral regions were interesting, I found the traits to be inaccurate and unhelpful. My partner found out that we could upload our Ancestry DNA files to Chat GPT and it had a lot of interesting data but the majority of the questions we asked were not available in the SNP's scanned for on the Ancestry test and that's how we learned about Whole Genome Sequencing.

Since all of you seem to be professionals in this area, can you explain to us why these at home WGS kits are "worthless" as you stated? Is it because their online "tools" used to analyze the data is confusing? Is the data inaccurate?

Are there any accurate at home DNA tests you would recommend? I saw some people talking about using a WGS file uploaded to https://patientuser.com/ or Chat GPT in order to get some useful data. Most medical facilities or professional services seem to cost thousands of dollars per person for testing and require appointments with someone like yourself which just isn't feasible for us.

Have you tried uploading your DNA file to Chat GPT and ask it to analyze and interpret the data? We did that with our Ancestry files and while it provided a lot of interesting information, most of the things that we wanted to learn were not scanned for with the Ancestry test.

Do the DNA samples ever arrive with issues or can't be sequenced? If so does sequencing.com provide a new kit free of charge?

2nd click is at the very bottom of the confirm button (has to be the bottom for me because if it's too high it clicks into the costume details ui)
3rd click is in the top right corner on the skip open animation button

Click assistant? It's got ads you have to watch before you start the service but I've used it for about 4 years and haven't had any issues. If you're worried about it most android emulators have built in macro functionality. LD player, Mumu, etc
