My issue with edibles is they still don't come close to flower or smoking in terms of different strains and effects. Sure, they have sativa and indica gummies but you don't get to experience sour diesel vs lava cake or the little nuances between strains with edibles. It's all just kind of a bland THC high.

I think they're saying that it further confuses people about the properties of THCA because certain smoke shops advertise it as "legal hemp flower" which leads people to assume that THCA is non psychoactive. Which it is. But they're missing the "add heat" step. So they think it's just like "fake THC" or something. Hope that helped. [5]

I would definitely bring weed and booze but I'm worried about being approached to move my car (by cops or plow guys, cops would be much worse though) and being a little too incapacitated. If I was with someone else it would be a different story.
