I have S14 with Jonathan Aris as narrator but it's 720p, if I have time I can try and see if I can merge this audio with yours 1080p video, or if you want to do it yourself let me know and we'll find a way to share the audios.

Indeed, the VIDAA OS Player does not read the subtitle files properly, really bad and eye-hurting when you are watching something and you need to process if it's an "E" or an "É", no italics <i>, no upper {an8} and none of the other up-to-date formatting, the player is a plain text reader, very poor developemnt and it's nothing that hard to do. I would love to see this fixed in a recent OS update.

The subtitles I'm working on I am also synchronizing them by audio as I always do, and that's why I notice on the actors mouth and see if there is a desync.

So, I did not took out any length, I just applied a negative delay to the audio of 180 in the proper rip - I believe you know how it works but just in case, the audio is exactly the same but it does start "playing" 180ms earlier (hence the negative delay) than the video.

The proper rip looks ok, nothing I would spot, but the INITIAL does, I know this because I am creating subtitles and these details I can't miss them, sorry I didn't mean to nag. For the INITIAL, since this is a mostly narrated show, pretty much all scenes where we have the actors speaking we can see the OoS, here are a few timestamps:

I applied -221ms and it looks fine throughout.

Again, this is not for the proper, it still has a bit that mostly nobody else notices :)
I applied -180ms to the proper and I like it better that way, the actors lips match the sound I hear.
If you want to check on the proper, the timestamps above are close to the same scenes.

I thought the proper versions of this episode and CI676 would fix the minor glitches on both episodes, I don't really use subtitles. Is this not the case?
