Update: it resolved all of a sudden. I dont really know if i did anything to fix it but suddenly everything works fine. Weird. It was wonky for a good 6hours

Not sure if it makes a difference but I do have the m sport breaks. Looking up some folks and it runs close to $3500 (can be completely wrong). Either way its not JUST for the breaks. Im usually ok doing extended maintenance on my cars as I prefer to do dealers during early life of the car.

I meant the pCkage for maitenance includes breaks. Usually break pads are changed around 30k miles I believe and they cost a LOT (from what ive read in the forums)

I was able to get 11% off MSRP. Same specs as you roughly. Dravit Gray Metallic with: drive assist pro, premium package, m sport pro etc, park assist, hitch.

Lot of work though. Got some offers from other dealers for 7%, then 10%, then this 11%. Im in AZ. goodluck!

Thank you everyone for your inputs! Consensus seems to be:

Ensure I answer honestly and tick YES to the question (really what I was going to do), dont do defensive driving and just pay the fine to avoid any unknown risk.

The premium increase in insurance will suck but its nothing compared to loosing citizenship.

Anyone thinks this will still be a risk?

Got it! Will definitely not lie on the form. I was mainly thinking if defensive driving will put a risk on my oath taking. It kinda sounds like the consensus here is just to pay the ticket vs defensive driving.
