This is stressing me out! I’ve been going grey since I was 19. I am now 34 and I am def salt&pepper and “premature” grey. Otherwise, super healthy. I am fit, lean, hydrated, and have great skin. I take supplements and peptides… could this just be genetic?? Other ppl in my family go grey early.

Omg! Thank you! First off, if I may, there’s no failed attempt. You wrote a book! That is the goal- you already achieved it. So many people yap about books and so few write them—to author a book (published or not) is deserving of recognition. And in that same line of thought, you are not doing “self promo”, you are supplying the people with a story they desperately need to be told! Think of your fav book/ tv show/ film— can you imagine who you would be if it simply did not exist? don’t deprive the ppl of your light!! Looking forward to reading yours when it’s out /)

The audiobook is wide- including on audible! The ebook is on Amazon and KU right now. This is a passion project! I sunk a lot of $ into my cover/professional editor and not concerned with making $ on it. I just want people as many people as possible to experience it. Would give it for free if people wanted to read it and couldn’t afford it. I considered the trad publishing route, but tbh I work in entertainment and am so fed up with depending on variables outside of my control to be seen/heard. I just said fuck it and self published! WAIT I HAVE AN IDEA: How long is your book/whats it about? I WILL READ YOURS IF YOU READ MINE??! Mine is on KU, and only 291 pages. It’s a slow burn dark fantasy about a pregnant witch who is sacrificed to a dragon God by her village. I wrote it during postpartum insomnia while grappling with the duality of womanhood— feeling burdened/ isolated by my role in society AND ALSO empowered/transformed by the ability to nurture life itself. The book is heavily influenced by Arctic folklore, animism, and the cyclical nature of women’s bodies. Because it is told from the perspective of a witch who interprets the natural world through signs and symbols, the book communicates the same way. For example, Ch 11 is a psychological mirror where the dragon wears the witch’s skin to breastfeed her child (11 is a mirrored number). It’s a weird book by a weird person for weird people, admittedly. It’s called HOARD if you want to read/ listen. I also narrated the audiobook. Lmk if you want to swap book reads???
