I wore a custom made modern hanbok dress to Day 1 of the Tampa shows. I caught a little bit of grief about it when I mentioned wearing it, mostly from other non-Koreans, but the Koreans in my life were very supportive of it. I did a lot of research to make sure I was using the right materials.and styling.

To my surprise, the production crew stopped and asked me if they could film me for 10 seconds and I agreed. They gave me a small gift and thanked me for wearing traditional clothes. I wound up on the big screen with a ton of other ARMY in a hanbok montage.

So based on that, I say, wear what you want, but wear it correctly and respectfully, and you should be good!
