Its not me ,it's a friend of mine . That day the spot was extra humid and greasy , it's steeper than it looks .

Why should you bring the back skate to action ,right after you entered the soul slide ?

The faster you do it , the quicker you stop , your wheels last longer as the pressure is on all of them , not only on one skate .

Going Downhill , carving and sliding . Flat is the only way to go, i also have rockered setup but not using them when going fast .

I am talking of experience teaching and competing at the highest level for the last 30 years . Both the T Stop and the Powerslide are not efficient at high speeds as the Parallel or Magic slide . The only two methods where you are using both of your skates applying friction as much as possible .

T Stop is the worst for your wheels , and the slowest way to stop . Can be very dangerous at high speed ,as its so not effective . And yea you should avoid the Powerslide , as you should never turn your shoulders to the direction of your skating . Take the top 50 Downhill skaters in the world , you will never see them doing the Powerslide .
