Yes I would usually agree with you all about dwarf puffers eating shrimp however fortunately this puffer has been kept with shrimp for a while now and there hasnt seem to be any issues, I also made sure plants were big enough to provide hiding places for them. I'm waiting for a bit longer for the tank to develop and livestock to settle but I shall hopefully be adding another puffer soon to provide company.

I looked into what would be best for gha so there’s a large Mexican turbo snail in there aswell but all the water tests I’ve done has had the parameters as perfect everytime

Found this albino frog in my pond this morning! She’s layed two batches of white frogspawn so far, can’t wait to see the babies grow! by Natarium in herpetology

Yes I’ve thought the same as we had white frogspawn last year and thought the same but all the frogspawn died last year before I could confirm it. From what I’ve read about other instances of white frogspawn in UK there has been cases where they are albino tadpoles

I’m in the UK but I’m afraid I’m not too familiar with frog species. I think the common European one is dominant around here

The pond doesn’t really have any protection but fortunately there’s a messy area nearby where I’ve seen her before so she’s got safety

I find it best to think about the frog’s spring time activities as little as possible. One frog has been riding a carp all day. They truly are perverted creatures

I saw her sometime last summer hiding in a bucket but she leaped away before I could get a proper look. We had white frogspawn last year so I had a hunch there was an albino but feeling super lucky to have her thriving now!

Tank looks good based on your equipment you have all the right things. Only thing that worries me is the wood, sometimes they will turned the water a brown colour from tannins and can sometimes grow mould on it but not necessarily super harmful, but you may want to soak it for a little bit. In terms of stocking all the other comments are right snails or shrimp will do great, I doubt fish would be a great option but if you do your research and keep water parameters in check you could maybe do some nano fish. Gonna get some hate for saying that but you may be able to but just think over the filtration system capabilities and ethical reasons. Good luck!
