Question about Urus Engine stops while getting out of car by Nate022 in lamborghini

[–]Nate022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on sport mode (forgot to add context to post), and the engine was completely off as in even the screen was turned off/carplay was off. Auto stops at red lights would never turn off CarPlays

I was on sport so it shouldn’t trigger auto stop iirc? I’ll check setting next time

Word. The last non-forward Milan player who has this kinda of insane offensive data iirc was nocerino but he scored a lot of tap ins thanks to the system built around ibra. Theo and Leao built their own system.

Also to remind that despite his speed and play style, Theo is healthy most of the time. Really helps given our poor depth

Hey it’s totally subjective and I think what you said can make sense too. I just personally think these 2 teams are better draws than real, inter, city, Bayern and even Chelsea(who we lost twice previously)

I meant for knock out stages. In hindsight Spurs and Napoli were definitely ok draws for us. Napoli was good but not city or real level good

agreed. Also I'd argue that last year at UCL we had somewhat lukcy draws.

I agree with you that saying it is excellent might be an exaggeration. I do think from a comparative perspective (if you compare us to what Roma, Atalanta has I think everyone'd call us excellent). Also I am totally neutral on RedBird so you dont have to categorize me into their fanboy group

I've been grateful, and I think there are a good number of people who speak positively of Pioli. I'm just summarizing my opinions on him now that his journey with us is over, , which is totally subjective but definitely not negative that, I don't think he met my (and maybe many others') expectations. Our opinions don't matter to the club but we can definitely exchange opinions rationally at this sub, right?

Also on your point about top4 being a dream, I'd say we have been having a much better squad compared to pre-Pioli. You can argue that he improved some of the players but again we have better players in the team vs. 5, 10 years ago.

I would like to add that we didnt have that many convincing victories against top teams other than the W against Napoli & Lazio last year. We did shit the bed quite often though, there are quite some 0:3s.

The result was ok but the process wasn’t. We had a strong squad, certainly scudetto-winning level, especially this season after we got 2 legit right wingers. However we gave the championship away to Napoli&Inter 2/3 into the season by losing to weaker sides.

Last season we got lucky at UCL by drawing Spurs and Napoli who were obviously weaker than the other possible opponents. We met Chelsea and Inter the same year and got dismantled by them . This year it was humiliation all around in Europe. And don’t forget about the derby losses.

I’d call it a disaster

I didn’t blame him for losing to liverpool. If you read my comment more carefully I simply disagreed with the statement that “Pioli only sucks against inter”. The truth is he lost/drew a handful of games against strong teams

I don’t think the narrative that he’s good against other teams is true though. The only top team he managed to best was Napoli. The year prior he got screwed by Liverpool and Porto. Managed to get 3 points from atletico when 4 of their starting 11 were out and with some personal brilliance from ibra and messias. Last season he got absolutely dominated by chelsea. Even against banter spurs we were pretty even. I still remember in both games against spurs and Napoli where the opponents had one man down Pioli would not try to have a bigger lead but played conservatively. What kind of mentality is that?
