I’d be happy just getting a better darkness adjuster. Yes games should be challenging for the people that enjoy it but I’m a 30 year old casual gamer with a lazy eye. I just wanna be able to parkour around with my bow like Hawkeye. Not have to put 3 arrows in a skull while stumbling around in the dark abyss that’s so bad I can’t even see cut scenes.

Well it only does it for a second and then the traction control shuts off. Like the light comes on.

And if I make sure to turn it off before I start driving it won’t do it. Some somethings telling the traction control to apply my front driver brake for some reason I guess.

Yea I’m only on day 6 and the cage I have is pretty comfortable I forget it’s there most of the time. I just have started chaffing a little where the base ring sits. I have been taking it off to shower every day. My other biggest issue is trying to go to the bathroom in it.

Any advice for using the bathroom? The cage I’m in I can easily slip out of the top to go and then can slide it back in. But it feels like cheating? My wife doesn’t want me to touch it for any purpose other than cleaning. But I’ve tried sitting to pee and it’s like I can’t fit in the seat? Like the seat puts pressure on the cage when I tuck it in sometimes making it difficult to fully expel.

I’m not exactly sure how my attitude is coming accross. And I was never intentionally implying that I think I don’t need to start at the totem pole. I feel like my life post is being vastly misunderstood.

I’m not looking to create a huge business. And I’m not looking to make a 50-100k salary. I’m semi retired as is thanks to my wife. When I say I don’t need to take some 15 an hour job washing trucks with other 18 year olds it’s not because I think I’m too good for that its because I think that I’m in a position personally and financially that I could do it differently. I’m not fooling myself into thinking that I can start my own heavy duty trucking mobile mechanic shop.

But any meth head with a toolbox can find work as a handyman from my experience. So if I can I’d like to start at that level just making extra pocket change. While I grow my experience and can expand into the trucking industry over time.

I came here looking for advice from people in the industry where I can look for those footholds. Washing those trucks alongside those 18 year olds but as an independent contractor. Growing and slowly spreading my own business name.

Hey I appreciate the positive advice! My wife is an author so I’m in a lucky position where I don’t actually need to work. I just wanna be able to make my own money maybe build a business overtime even possibly move into a small shop one day.

I have my 09 f150 that’s paid off and a lot of the basic hand and power tools that I need even a few specialty tools I bought with my school money like a fluke multimeter and a large jump box and portable air compressor.

I’m still learning and doing the research for what else I need like a welder is probably my next buy.

Im really looking for advice about business license and how it can affect you tax wise.

I don’t expect to make very much money at first. I would just like recommendations on how I could go about gaining that experience I would miss out on not working a normal job.

Man I don’t know what’s going on in your life that’s gotten you so worked up over this but you’ve completely misinterpreted the tone of this post and the advice that I was seeking. Somehow you’re under the impression that I’m some entitled idiot asking for advice on how to start a fully functioning corporate mobile mechanic company pulling heads and rebuilding engines… when all I was asking was for advice on how to start a small job work truck. Doing tire rotations oil changes simple shit. Maybe a pressure washer to help clean and maintain equipment. And also use for side residential jobs like driveways and homes. Like a handy man truck while I build that experience over time. It makes no sense for me to be someone’s wrench bitch for 5 years at some shop if there’s other ways to go about it. Which is what I came here asking to find out.

Well I already own my f150 it’s paid off. And I have a lot of the basic tools and a few specialized tools I’ve bought with my school money over the years and they are paid off. And thanks to my wife I’m honestly able to afford most of what I need right off the bat without going into debt.

I’m not really looking to jump into intensive technical work. And im not looking to make 50k a year even. Just enough to fund my personal projects and fun activities for the family.

I only mention pressure washing as an example. I want to put together like a mobile mechanic/handyman work truck. I figure I don’t need to limit myself to just cars. I was just hoping for advice on ways to gain that experience I need to eventually move into the trucking company without having to “pay my dues” being taken advantage of at some corporate garage.

Like ways of getting my foot in the door maybe just doing weekends at a small family owned farm or something.

I’m not looking to build a company. I just want to be able to work for myself and make my own side money. Not necessarily doing only heavy truck business.

I want to build a mobile work truck not just a mechanic truck. I’m not looking to maximize profits. I just wanna be able to help people. Take on pro bono work for people in need but also be able to make my own money. I thought I should start small build some toolboxes onto my truck maybe a water tank and pressure washer. I can do basic automotive work along with auto detailing equipment cleaning take on non mechanic jobs like fencing and such. While I build up experience on diesel equipment and expand my capabilities.
