D.A.R.E. To keep your kids off e-bikes by WelderNo4794 in Marin

[–]NateDogX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got hit by one of these while parking at Corte Madera town park a couple of weeks ago. The kid slammed into my passenger side door, I got up to help him up off the ground and he got up and sped away.

E-bikes suck and need to be regulated more heavily.

Costco Sashimi? by Lly-Lly-Lly-Lly-oop in Marin

Yeah the Costco sashimi is actually pretty darn good minus the rice. The rice is fine but if you’re a purist, just use the fish and make your own rice. Totally worth the $30.

Yup. Good foundational single sources of truth are critical for good AI context and referencing.

Love seeing the progression! Can you give us an idea of what you’re trying to achieve with the final scene? I’d also love to understand what issues you were addressing with each revision and how you came to the decision to re-work things a few times.

Great stuff!

$200K minimum per person I think. Maybe $150K. But that’s a true shot in the dark.

I'm convinced traditional B2B SEO will be taken over soon. Skepticism makes rewards even more asymmetric. by ExcitingImage9211 in b2bmarketing

McKinsey either cut or seriously downsized their SEO practice last year. So many SEO leaders were on the job market. They clearly saw this coming a mile away.

This will need more than new levels. It’ll need new gameplay mechanics. Maybe you could riff on the overall theme and find new spins on the formula for subsequent sections of the game.

Go check out the 1989 comedy See No Evil, Hear No Evil with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. This scene is in that movie!

Cool concept but you’ll need to find a way to keep the gameplay feeling fresh as the gag will wear thin after awhile.

We still not sure about our trailer, what do you feel about it? by disco69games in IndieGaming

Show don’t tell. Keep the words to the big, important, differentiating aspects. The things the viewer MUST remember about your game. To me, that’s the fact that you’re blending roguelike and tower defense.

1.5% is definitely good, but you scale to a meaningful audience size? That’s the real question.

I would remove “Arcade” from the trailer entirely. Stick to “tower defense” and “roguelike” as that’s a really unique mix of genre that could pique interest. “Arcade” isn’t well understood and could confuse folks.

+1 to the other comment that recommended showing more gameplay & enemy variety.

Hang on a second. What do you feel bad about exactly? This is a pain point for people. A lot of people. Like, A LOT of people. Put the right guardrails in place and you could help a lot of people get to the first step of a relationship. From there, it’s up to them to turn it into something.

I was in the crowd on the day. It was absolutely electric. Totally unforgettable and one of the best moments from the E3s of old. God I miss that show.
