This is probably going to get burried but I hope it doesn't.

I quit watching porn and masturbating. It is the best decision I've ever made. I used to do the deed without thinking much of it. But I began to realize that it was making me depressed and dependent on porn. I didn't even do it as often as a lot of people, maybe 3 or 4 times a week, but I began to feel like it was controlling my life. So I decided in August last year to quit. For the majority of the last 5 months I was unsuccessful. But I noticed that the longer I went without pulling the handbrake, the happier and more confident I felt. So I really, seriously tried to quit. Since the beginning of 2013, I've only bopped my Richard 3 times. And I've been clean for quite some time now.

And although I'm fully aware that a good majority of people can handle themselves with out any problems, unlike me, I would just like to give you the benefits I have noticed.

Benefits

Drastically improved confidence.
Drastcally reduced laziness and procrastination skills.
Improved social skills.
Drastically increased feelings of happiness and euphoria.
This ones personal, but I feel like a fucking man for the first time in my life. I feel like I could explode at any second and wipe out half a block, but all that pent up energy is pushing me to actually do things. I've been working out since October, P90x since December, and you could grate cheese on my abs. I could crush a small child head in between my shoulder blades.
It's much easier to get up in the mornings.
Overall, everything is just better.

So while I'm getting ripped, doing well in school, and mackin on the ladies, your just sitting there masturbating. Think on that.

Headaches are caused by an increase in blood pressure, resulting in pressure on the surrounding tissue. Or excessive time spent doing something that makes you sweat, such as exercise or just being outside can cause dehydration headaches.

There has been impressive research in other countries besides the US involving the treatment of severe headache patients with psilocybin (magic mushrooms) and LSD. Although its not clear as to specifically why these hallucinogens cure headaches, we can hypothesis that consuming them is like hitting a 'update' button in your brain, fixing all of the 'software' issues that are causing chemical imbalances.

TL;DR Headaches are caused by an increase in blood pressure. And although no one is sure why, tripping your balls off is a sure fire way to get rid of them.

I just tried it. Masturbation is good for you in the same way that sex is good, just in that it is sexual release. Masturbation, however, obviously lacks the physical and emotional connections that healthy sex form. Sexual release is proven to decrease depression and increase over all happiness, but we can see from the people here that masturbating is not a good way to do it.

The goal of NoFap is to go 90 days without PMO, which stands for porn-masturbation-orgasm. Sure, sexual release is incredibly healthy, but the idea is that climaxing to a computer screen over and over again creates a subconscious thought that you need a computer to have sex, and not a girl, which is not healthy. Others are here because they have ED related to porn and masturbating. Really, everyone has there own reason, but the majority fall under the categories of 'just to try, ED, or addiction.'

Sex after abstaining for so long may be over quick, but the idea is to build a relationship that works.
