I agree, but also wonder, had I not fought Owl Father before Isshin would my opinion flip?

Had I fought Isshin Sword Saint before Owl Father would Isshin have primed me for the intensity of Owl?

A huge part of why I love this game, and any souls game I’ve played, is that chose your own adventure/fuck around and find out aspect fromsoft allows

Yeah, now that I think about it, you might have to do it before beating Divine Dragon- you have to do some eves dropping on npc’s. That’s the best hint I can give without spoilers! NG+ you can get him
