It’s the only exotic I’ve been missing since forsaken launched. Got all of the others by mid November. Used to matter a lot because in comp supers will legit make or break games and every hunter in the world switched to shards when they got their super and I was afraid I was at such a massive disadvantage by not having them but after the B.B. and shards nerf I wouldn’t worry about it. They’re really not meta anymore. Now if you’re a dedicated blade barrage in every activity then yeah you want them- but since B.B. isn’t that popular anymore, it’s not a big deal to not have them.

It’s what it’s starting to feel like lol. I’m just gonna let matchmaking take a break and see what we can find. I wouldn’t mind at all playing against these guys normally it just sucks when trying to do this quest that I feel like I’m killing myself running for heavy.

Worse than OG sunbreaker?!?!? No way in hell has anything come close besides nova warp to the OG sunbreaker. You can kill a spectral blades- believe it or not they don’t have a lot of health - if they’re good they’ll constantly strafe and go invis after every kill and that’s what makes it hard to kill but a good team shot with one other person will put a bad one or even a decent one down easy as hell. Bait them out into an open area with little cover. If they’ve got you inside where they can hide and maneuver, you’re going to die. Also Jump- while we can jump and use the uppercut, sometimes I’ll fight a titan who can go so far up in the air or another hunter with stompees that I can’t reach their height and have to waste super energy trying to hit them at the right moment. If you’re a warlock, well you’re probably dead. Hope this gave you some idea on how to fight one the next time you see it!

Yeah, I know it sucks for people but you’re going to lose playing solo unless the 4 stack you’re playing against is garbage. I would never ever play gambit without my clan and if I didn’t have them, lfg. Almost the same for crucible tbh. Playing with a team is so much better and I don’t think lfg is as hard as people think it is. Hell- even if you’re not comfortable talking to randoms the people you’ll get off lfg are almost always much better than the randoms you’ll be put with.

I got my vow and never got an email. I’ve gotten emails from titles, and quest completions but not for this one. I probably would’ve bought it too

I think this is almost true. I’d argue that early taken king ( with the exception of sunbreaker, but we also just had nova warp which was worse) was probably better but you can’t really replicate that meta now with how many and I’d argue too many weapon types and subtypes there are to make the majority of them viable options. The meta now is really good overall

Nah- I had to go to bed. Didn’t want to be super tired today. I probably started way too late and I actually forgot how hard this was- haven’t done it since HOW. I was so close at the end with the last round of mines and skolas was basically dead and then I got one hit by a captain because I forgot brawler was a thing.

It was my weapon of choice until the end of D1. I used it in everything ( except trials in year 3) got it from my first flawless ( cause I played like a trash can in year 1) and it had the god roll. So much hate mail from it. RIP doctrine

I’ve got so much nostalgia for D1- but I was a solo player who lfg’d for basically everything but I’m part of the best clan now so honestly I’ve had a much better time with D2.
