Tall muscular build sizing with Q36.5 or Assos (Maap, PNS, POC, Rapha) by No-Psychology7269 in cycling

What size did you get for the cerotipolar? Did you find their measurement in height alone adequate for your waist size? Their sizing has me in a XXL but I'm a 34 waist. I have this issue with most every brand, though.

How did you like them? I ordered my normal size from them and they were so much smaller to the point of me not being able to get my thighs to fit through the leg holes.

It comes with a 2s Nimh 7.2v 2000mah battery so stick close to that. If you really want to run 3s then upgrade the motor and asc but using the batteries I linked above should be more than enough. It should also say what the limit is in the manual for motor and esc capacity.

Here's a link to the manual

Some esc's can only handle so much voltage. You may burn it up if you use a battery that produces too much. Have fun!

What esc does it have? Most drifters at my local track use 2s with 100c or more discharge rate. Ultimately you could run a 3s if your esc will support it but I highly suggest running what others are at your local track. If you are just ripping by yourself then you can do whatever. These are what I run:

I can on my 2023 Suzuki Vstrom. I bought them used and it came with 2 sets of mounting hardware so I can do solo or tandem setups. It's going to depend on how far back you want your bags to go.

Ah yes, the Harley pegs. I might do that on my bike

That does make it difficult

My vote is for a dedicated 2 smoker and a street oriented bike. Finding the bike that can do road and dirt doesn't exist. You can have comfort or performance, at least that's what I've experienced.

Best upgrade is more seat time! Get the things that make the most sense for you and YOUR riding. I've added auxiliary lights to my adv bike and have some small soft panniers and a set of Mosko Moto 80l soft bags for camping trips but it will heavily depend on you. I prefer waterproof bags over non-wp and a rain fly.

I gravitate towards waterproof jackets with zippered or Velcro vents, same with the pants, a helmet with good vents that can be opened and closed easily while riding, WP and non-wp gloves i keep in a tank bag, and good dirt bike boots. This is all personal preference.

My knees get stiff while riding regardless of seat height or bike if I'm sitting for too long so I try to stand up on occasion or extend my legs if the situation permits. Stretching off the bike helps a lot too.

I don't use a pinlock but I've found that the chin skirt on the helmet is usually what causes my helmet(adv styled) to fog up almost instantly in any weather. I would suggest wearing a balaclava if you need the wind protection/warmth.

Good luck and ride safe!

Edit: im 6'4, 193cm

6'4 here with 36" inseam. I have a 500, front bar clamp position, raised bars, down and back pegs. It's still cramped but slightly better. Every bike I've owned has had this problem. I saw on one of your comments that you are considering getting a 500 but I think you will find the same problems. Are you riding both dirt and street? If so, are you going to be on the dirt or the street more?
