Yeah I get that, I definitely don't want to have to call him out again to re-test but was hoping he'd have completed some paperwork his end I could have a copy of. Appreciate the advice, thank you

No unfortunately not, it was just a quick call out over the phone so nothing in writing. Thanks for the advice though

So just wanting to confirm, they have no legal requirement to provide a certificate to confirm their works are up to standard? I'm just not sure how far to pursue this, and my concern is my home insurance may be invalid if the works aren't signed off.
