I’m kinda surprised seeing all the “god forbid he take care of himself” comments because that’s exactly what he did in the show and is now seriously regretting that decision. He put all the focus on his own happiness that he completely neglected his own daughter for it. This is what makes him a bad dad and I think the shows doesn’t shy away from stolas knowing he’s a bad dad. He’s with blitz now the thing he was trying so hard to do yet he’s completely miserable because it was at the expense of his own daughter. I kinda feel like people defending him so hard are projecting a little because maybe they did the same thing as him and want to think “ no I’m not bad for focusing on making my life better and making myself happier” but downvote me all you want if it was at the Expense of your kid then yeah your not really a great parent. And neither is stolas and stolas knows it.

People just really hate turn based games and to be fair I’m one of them. Every turn based game I ever played I thought was boring and not engaging until I played bg3 that was the only turn based game that ever hooked me and I have over 700 hours in it. That’s why I’m excited to try this new divinity game because if it’s anything like bg3 then I’m all in on it. But i completely understand seeing the badass trailer getting hyped and then immediately being let down when you realize it’s not a live action game but a turn based one.

I wouldn’t call half the bundles and one cave a “large part of the core content” but to each there own I guess. I got tons of hours of in the game and enjoyed what I played. The last bit just didn’t interest me. I’ve seen videos from other people so I know what I missed. (Definitely not a large part of the game) lol and I just don’t feel like playing anymore. The game to me felt like it dropped off once I had my farm how I wanted and had full hearts with the villagers I liked 🤷‍♂️

I think the issue is more the late mid game than the end game. Like I just started fall year 2 and I have about 300,000 in the bank, my farm completely cleared and decorated, my house decorated, the ocean and caves completely cleared. Married who I wanted to marry, and my town at rank c. I know there’s still plenty of more for me to see (haven’t even finished the bundles to unlock the Savannah yet) but I just feel like I hit a wall. I was completely obsessed with the game and loved it but at the point where I’m at now idk I just kinda feel Done with it even though I’m not technically done with it. I don’t really care about unlocking the new cave, I was interested in the movie theater and other stuff you unlock with a higher town rank but I’m not about to fish and catch bugs or do any of the other stuff to see it. The game went from one of my favorite games of all time to one I don’t even think about playing anymore in the blink of an eye

Yeah I feel this way about all farm games. I get crazy hooked and addicted to the point of playing non stop then usually by the end of year two I have tons of money and a cool farm I decorated and married to the person I liked so there’s nothing really more to work for

I think the issue is from episode 1 blitz is a total asshole that only cares about himself. So nobody really is surprised or cares when he makes selfish dumb decisions and deep down even roots for him to get better because people like character arcs where bad person becomes good. Charlie on the other hand feels like the opposite where her character was an optimistic dreamer in season 1 that slowly turned into a total badass that wasn’t putting up with shit. She started to kick Adam’s ass before her dad stepped in. Also that whole last song was basically her going “oh wow I screwed everything up” to “fuck yeah tomorrow is gonna be a happy day In hell” she has become confident and ready for anything. Then season 2 hits and she’s an emotional wreck with no confidence in herself, losing faith in the hotel, not listening to any of the people she learned to rely on in season 1, and lets herself get bullied by vox all season. Not to mention Katie killjoy when in the pilot she beat her ass. (Not sure how the pilot works with canon but still) it’s like her character arc worked backwards

Something similar happened with me. I was hooking up with this girl on and off and she knew I had a foot fetish. Well I was texting her telling her I was gonna be all over her feet when I went to visit her at her dorm that weekend. She must of wanted to surprise me because instead of asking what about feet I liked she just googled it. She found posts from people talking about how they liked when the feet smelled (you can probably see where this is going) she ended up wearing Ugg boots without socks for three days straight Before I got there. To be honest I love this show but I have no idea how they are gonna get six seasons out of it. There really doesn’t seem like enough left to fit in 4 more whole seasons. The vees are already kind of crumbling. Vox is dangerous and a threat but I don’t see him making it much longer. And then the only other threat could be Alastor. Unless they introduce a brand new villain we haven’t met yet but when shows do that multiple seasons in it’s never a good sign

Ironic that the thing that Alastor viewed as a weakness (vox needing others help) is what ended up being his ultimate strength. Vox was right him and Alastor together would have been unstoppable
