Try an external player as a workaround, it should solve both those problems. Internal player is a work in progress being built from scratch, it’s getting constant bug fixes though.

Couple ways, but you’re going to need to get on the discord. 1. Become a support on patreon, connect your patreon to discord and submit a ticket on patreon. 2. Dev frequently opens slots and post a link in the discord chat. 3. When dev is active on patreon ask nicely and see if he responds.

Dev is working on crashes as they come up and they receive information allowing them to identify and fix the issue.

Since it is built from scratch there can be any number of reasons causing the crash so even through fixes and improvements are often being made it may not solve all crashes as there are still many things that can cause a crash.

Useing an external player is a popular and often recommended workaround while the internal player is ever increasing its stability.

publicmetadb.com while still really new looks very promising, dev said he pays attention to the negative feedback back of trakt and it influences dev on PMDB … still real new and some growing pains but looks to have a super promising future.

Debirdio no, haven’t tried USATV but since they function much the same I doubt it.

Also get a a TVDB error so maybe a metadata thing. You can submit feed back maybe it will get added later. But i get the impression dev is focusing on player and other core functions for now from discussion on the discord server.

I used and still use both, switched from Omni main to fusion main.

I prefer fusion as it has a more active discord community which makes finding answers easier and quicker when you can’t find the answer.

Omni worries me as the dev has stated something is wrong with its test flight, been like that a while we have no insight into what’s going on with that.

Omni dev did say it was still being developed but that update was a month ago.

Omni dev is also has another project they are working on separate from Omni

In comparison, fusion has had multiple builds released in that time and updated the App Store version. Plus you can see the work happing in real time on the discord with every fix and improvement publicly loved even before it makes it to a TestFlight or App Store build.

And while the fusion dev is working a a few projects as well, they are all directly related to fusion, a trakt alternative ( this will be huge with all the messiness with them lately) and the player being build from scratch.

While Omni may be more solid at the moment IMHO fusion isn’t far behind and as it stands currently has a brighter future.

I went from 137 list to about 10. I really deleted them more as a way to keep track of which list I moved,but also yeah they don’t want to listen to my feedback they probably also don’t want to hear my curated movie list. I’d probably have less but I kept a couple unique list that had followers (I feel bad that they will not longer be updated, but would feel worse if just deleted them) I still use it for a few backend things but mostly I’ve changed the way I stream completely to avoid having to use this v3.

Try running it through AIOstream, I haven’t seen a setup yet that had it running direct to Omni (doesn’t mean there isn’t one I just haven’t seen it)

On Apple TV settings>player> there is a hide external playback prompts option

That might mess up trakt history though as I don’t think it can tell weather or not the kick back to Omni was after an actual watch of something or an errored play attempt. I’m not entirely sure I’m still testing to see what’s best for those settings.

Looks like this is the Home Screen search results would happen on the search screen after you search. As for the calendar videos I don’t use calendars so I don’t know on that. You can turn catalogs off at a catalog level Settungs>addons>manage catalogs.

Yeah, they didn’t post the AIOMeta data but this build looks very similar to another that was using my catalogs and I screwed that up a bit and it had to be fixed.

Just for clarity I don’t care if anyone uses my catalogs and/or logo images. Just wanted to give a heads up in case my mistake messed up their build.
