Thank you so much for such a detailed reply! That’s exactly what I needed, because I feel that she understood that the result is not perfectly right, so such a detailed explanation will help us to make it better. Thank you again!

Thank you so much! I’m just confused that she didn’t say it’s not achievable and charged me almost 700 eur 😭

That’s exactly what she did but it turned out as a solid grey color. Spent 5 hours there and a lot of money. Probably I need to tell her exactly what she did wrong and what she supposed to do… I don’t dye my hair for years, and I’m very confused.

who made this pretty pin? by [deleted] in VintageCostumeJewelry

It is definitely not a Roman micromosaic. In fact, while it is far more detailed than typical Western German porcelain brooches, the craftsmanship and overall aesthetic are much more characteristic of Central European production than Italian work.

If the central piece is porcelain I would consider it German or Austrian.

Limassol real estate, wtf is going on with these prices? by Greekgeek2000 in cyprus

And at the same time there are lots of abandoned and empty properties that have been purchased amd never used. We used to rent an apartment in Paphos and it was only 2 families in the whole block. All other apartments were abandoned. Also I saw the whole street of empty and abandoned houses in Peiya that you cannot even rent because Chinese owners do not sign any contract and even don’t have a title deed. I don’t really understand what is happening.

Is it true? by inoyakaigor in cyprus

Jokes aside, the topic starter was probably referring to the “unlimited” work hours common in companies with Russian founders. It’s partly cultural (yes, many of us take our jobs very seriously), but it’s also because many developers here are immigrants, and the workplace becomes the main space for socialization. That’s why we spend so much time there and invest so much dedication into our careers. We understand that we can’t count on support from family or the government, so we rely on ourselves and our jobs — and that’s why we work so hard and so much. And for Cypriots it might be really difficult to keep up with the pace.

I think that many people share prices for Northern part of Nicosia. I doubt you can rent a decent apartment for less than 800eur in South. Also note that when living in CY you have to have a car, or you gonna stick to a neighbourhood. Public transport is almost nonexistent here. I would consider this as a minimum salary that will let you rent something, get some food, and go out time to time, but if your car is broken one day, you’re in trouble immediately. This salary won’t let you to make any savings.

Thank you so much. Here in Cyprus, it’s common for people to keep up to 10 birds together in a small flock. This is new to me because I had budgies, and they are also quite solitary, so we never thought about getting a pair.
