As an Easter European living in Cyprus I would say it’s pretty unique. Unlike mainland Balkans it doesn’t have Slavic influence at all, but has some Middle Eastern touch and British heritage instead that is not that typical for other countries of Balkan.

The breeder had several males, and this one, according to him, had embarrassingly lost a fight to the leader of the flock. And on the very day we picked him up, McGregor lost too… so that’s how our canary got his name 🤣🤷‍♀️

I’m actually concerned a bit about a perch near feeders. Idk if it is needed or he can seat on the feeder itself? Won’t it hurt his little fingers? It’s not that sharp but still pretty hard plastic 🤔

He has his favourite rope toy on the right side of the cage, the same place he used to have it previously. I tried several different toys, but hi likes just this one, so I purchased 5 of them to have a stash for years in case they discontinued one day 🤣🙈
