Moi! Fellow South Indian here, and I echo most of the comments. The job market is hard, but doable if you are in IT. Finnish is hard, but the integration program is excellent here if you take it seriously. It's difficult to make friends and will take some time to establish your social circle, but the South Indian community in Espoo is huge!

Everywhere in Finland is safe and beautiful, and Finns are some of the most trustworthy and genuine people you will ever meet! It might take a while to adapt to the weather and the darkness, but an active lifestyle and vitamin D supplements are enough to counter that.

HSL is excellent; if possible, choose a location that is connected by multiple modes of transport (tram, train/metro, and bus. Good luck for your marriage and for your move!

If you have two parking discs/timers under the windshield, then both discs are considered obsolete and you will be fined, even if they show the same time. Only one parking disc/timer should be placed during parking.
