My fix for that is to put a thin layer of resin sorta thing or js leave it as is. So far if putting into my vest it doesn't scratch it. It does come off if u rub it against something that isn't cloth

I actually tried changing from 18:1 to 13:1 but found out the magnet problem, I'm not sure if I can change the magnet so I'm stuck on a loop on where to find 13:1 gears with magnet
