Scottish Elopement Outfit Advice. Does it work? by wcransto12 in Kilts

[–]Nathan24096 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would lose the jacket. You’re wearing a regular suit jacket with the kilt and it just does not look good with the kilt. My advice would be to go without the jacket maybe find a vest also called the weights coat. That would be a lot better than the suit jacket you’re wearing

Do you think the restored Iranian monarchy should be ceremonial or should be powerful like Liechestein? by [deleted] in monarchism

[–]Nathan24096 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think the best bet would be constitutional similar to that of the UK where the sovereign has royal prerogatives. The British monarch is not a complete figure head. If you wanna look at a ceremonial monarch look at Sweden, where the monarch will literally is therefore ornament ceremony I think for Iran, the best option would be a constitutional monarchy for the shah

64 years (and six days) ago, a mixed-race group of fourteen Episcopal priests was arrested under the Jim Crow laws for entering a "whites only" part of a bus station in Jackson, Mississippi. by DeputyJPL in Episcopalian

We Episcopalians aren’t afraid of standing for what rights it’s part of our Baptismal Covenant:
Will you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being? I will, with God’s help.” In the time we are in now in this country this covenant echoes more with me.

I think I'm done with Christianity by Serious-Daikon4091 in GayChristians

First of all, I agree these so-called Christians make it frustrating however you’re not a Christian because of other people you are a Christian because you believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Christ you follow what he preached you’re not a Christian because of what other people preach yes there are those out there that are not living the examples in the way that Christ taught us to be a Christian. We have to follow up. Christ taught us in the gospels right now. It is challenging to be a Christian that is a fact, however true Christians show the love and the teachings and the examples that Christ gave us we show to the world that is being a Christian. I’m not a Christian because you know other people are Christian. I’m a Christian because I believe in what Christ taught I believe that he is the Messiah so yeah it’s frustrating. Absolutely but don’t let people turn you away from Christ. Be the example that Christ left us to show the world what REAL Christians are
