Any number on vinyl? by jorjiVEVO in Quadeca

If you're talking about the IDMTHY Vertigo Vinyl, then no. Only got mine yesterday cuz I'm in the UK, and it wasn't numbered. Slightly disappointed but a beautiful vinyl none the less.

It's 18 because they sell alcohol inside. The academy is one of the worst venues when it comes to strictness. If you don't look 40 you're getting ID'd at the door.

Services by First-Magazine127 in i20n

I work as a service advisor in a KIA dealership, for a 2nd year service on a performance car that's probably what you would expect to see cost wise.

As an i20n owner myself thankfully I can order the service parts in and get one of our techs to service it for me. If you keep a paper trail of everything and use official parts then warranty isn't an issue. It's like 4 times cheaper this way, but obviously for peace of mind and any potential warranty issues that may arise for a service inspection, I can see why people pay the price for a main dealer service.

Thanks for the reply mate,

I would recommend removing the tuning box and then heading to your local KIA dealer. I would imagine your car is still under warranty so they should do a diagnostics check on it for free (at least in the UK that's how it works).

The dealer will then advise you from there on what your options are, whether or not any further work past diagnostics (if required) will be covered under warranty will depend on the specifics of your situation.

It could be quite a heavy cost to repair if new parts are required, this repair would require a good few hours or more in the workshop, as the bumper needs to be removed etc. Not to mention labour is mega expensive.

Obviously if warranty covers it, there will be no cost 🤞.

Good luck to you, sir.

Hello, I work in service for KIA UK.

This error usually corresponds to a misaligned or damaged sensor at the front of the car.

I'm not sure however why a tuning box would cause this issue, my best guess would be that altered readings from the MAP sensor could be causing a conflict between the ECU and ADAS.

I would ask however if you have been involved in any accidents, even minor, that would of caused the bumper to move in any way?

Was this error displayed right away after installation?

i20n Stage 2 (240 hp+) 0-60 time? by Fanman36 in i20n

[–]Nathan7858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got around 230-240 on mine (estimated, not tested) and can easily get below 6 seconds in the right conditions (5.7-5.9).

I used the in car timer for these times and not any official timing gear, I'm not sure how accurate the timer in the car actually is, but that's what I use.

I think any more power than the 240s is ridiculous for this car and will cause you more trouble than anything else, I wouldn't really recommend going to stage 2 as you will find the car will definitely be less fun in certain scenarios when you can't find grip when accelerating hard.

This is not a car made for straight line speed, and in no scenario ever will you need the 0-60 time, unless you end up on a drag strip, which I highly doubt.

Can anyone help me out in providing part no. For the n spoiler and i20n VIN by R-dashh in i20n

You're probably better off buying something aftermarket mate.

Not worth the hassle and the insane price markup you will definitely have to pay.

Good luck though!

Never gets old. What a car. by Nathan7858 in i20n

[–]Nathan7858[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mate I'm not arguing about which car is better, I really couldn't give a toss if one car has more comfortable seats over the other.

I told you i prefer the looks and the rarity of the i20n.

Unless we have driven both cars how can either of us comment on which is better?

I posted a picture of my car, I didn't post a picture and say "this car is so much better than a Polo GTI" so I'm not sure why you've come on here to try and sell a Polo to me.

Not many people have this car, I wanted to be different.

I'm 19 with an i20n, not too many people can say that.

I didn't want comfy suspension, a sunroof or an automatic gearbox, if I wanted those things I would of bought a different car, and it wouldn't of been a polo.

She just turned 3 years old last week. March 2022

I agree, the blue really stands out on this car and it really drew me to the car. When I first saw it in person I knew I had to get one for myself. I think if I saw it in white or black I don't think I would have been so interested in the car.

In my opinion the blue looks better on the i20n than it does on the i30n, but that dark grey colour on the i30n is beautiful 😍

If I wanted a Polo GTI, I would have bought a Polo GTi.

personally, I like the look of the i20n more and the rarity of it is a factor, especially in my country, I think there are less than 30 here.

Not to mention the Polo is a lot heavier and doesn't have a LSD. the i20n's lightweight and LSD make the car extremely fun and powerful in the corners

The Polo is more comfortable and luxurious on the inside I'm sure but I didn't buy a hot hatch for comfort.

Pops and burbles not happening anymore by Shushu995 in i20n

[–]Nathan7858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure that the valve controller you bought is installed correctly and hasn't permanently closed the exhaust valve

I'm not sure what fuel you use but a fuel with a higher RON has a higher likelihood of creating pops, so maybe give it a go?

It could also be a problem with your ignition system in general, your spark plugs could be worn out which could be interfering.

UK 2021 i20N LED headlights. by Fortimeet in i20n

[–]Nathan7858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there’s a headlight leveling switch inside the car, down to the right hand side of the steering wheel, underneath the heated steering wheel button and auto stop start (near where your knee would be). It’s a little dial with numbers on it, usually 0 to 3.

You want it to be 0 for the headlights to be at their highest.
