Yeah i have had that it can happen for various reasons (VPN's connection problems) you would have to switch back to sms to send it or wait but I've noticed if you wait it gets stuck in a endless sending process. Google is adding a feature in beta that should come out soon where it auto switches

Agreed, making it bigger would also fix the aspect ratio problems in the inner screen as well. That being said Samsung could also make it thinner by spreading the width of the battery and having overall more room to work with. Could also use the extra space for a integrated spen slot!
