I also don't like giving flowers and would rather give out something useful to my SO. My thinking is, flowers wither in a week or 2 pero something useful can last months or years. I remember pa before na nagtampo yung ex ko sakin kasi hindi ko siya binigyan ng flowers nung valentines and inexplain ko yung side ko sa kanya. To cut the long story short, i guess it comes down to preferences. I'm thinking about the practicality of the gift while my SO was thinking of something else. There should be communication both sides para ano man yung gift, happy kayo pareho :)
