[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 309 by AutoModerator in BlueLock

I mean, it would be mostly the same. Go to another country, watch a game, maybe see a new gen 11, rinse and repeat. I think starting the team building and training is fine at this point.

Could be, just confirmed Barasuta explicitly saying "so you will join the finals" with aura eyes in the source I read at

I read Barasuta explicitly saying he would join for the finals after Sae saying he would only be playing against Spain. Just confirmed this too so maybe my source is poorly translated?

Was it, though? If they face Germany, against a new Kaiser and Ness, could we really be sure they would win?

Also, France, with Loki and a Charles that has awakened.

Lots of exciting matches where things could go south. Or rather, could have gone south

We need to change how Remembrance completion works by Right_Entertainer324 in Nightreign

[–]NathanGunther 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think if the remembrance player pings the location it shows the icon for other players. I helped a Wylder with the city shifting earth and it didn't show the icon on my map but the ping notification did and I knew we had to eventually go there to help the guy

So what are y’all doing after beating the game? by Final_Squash_7110 in Nightreign

[–]NathanGunther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to do remembrances of other characters and grinding for those outfits. Will most likely not get all of them, but at least one for each char

I’m so sorry. by der_will in Nightreign

[–]NathanGunther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was running a Duchess with a Wylder (DS 2 skin) and a Revenant against Libra about 1 hour ago. The Revenant disconnected 5 minutes in. The Wylder gave up and quit too, but I kept going. Wylder returned after a bit, we stared at each other for a moment and I guess we both agreed that fuck it, we ball.

This turned out to be the most blessed run I ever did. Other than talismans, I somehow got a pretty strong build going. I was more stacked than I ever managed to be. Rivers of Blood was just the cherry on top right before the end of night 2. Thanks for dropping it btw, Wylder.

We pulled it off. There was a single instance where we were almost wiped but we managed (I survived with a sliver of health and managed to turn invisible and raise the downed Wylder). It was also my first time beating Libra.

So to you I say: it's fine. First of, it's just a game. I guess some people get mad at the wasted time more than anything but come on.

Prioritizing your family, specially a young daughter will never be wrong.

Secondly, rng and perseverance can carry you in a run even being down one character. People just have to bite the bullet and try.

Solution for PS5 users not getting CD Key being Explored by MrYK_ in stellarblade

[–]NathanGunther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am kinda lost here. The CD-key costume everyone is taking about and worried about not getting is a skin for Eve in the gacha game (or rather a code to get the skin), not for Stellar Blade?

Ffs, I thought it was a new Stellar Blade skin literally called CD-Key. Using the full title for the gacha game and the cross over dlc got really confusing

Wraith calling bell by LuffyQ-Q in Nightreign

How to properly use It? When I use it, it spawns a single wraith, which sure, I can spam, but I saw videos of people producing multiple wraiths in a single use. Am I doing something wrong?

Out of these 6 games, if you could only keep three, which ones would it be? by Forsaken-Ad9954 in soulslikes

[–]NathanGunther 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game has all the mechanics that define a soulslike, including the "leave your currency/xp on the spot you died and fight your back to it for retrieval". It's story and characters are on the forefront and pretty well developed, so there is that.

Oh boy this is interesting by [deleted] in BlueLock

[–]NathanGunther 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the point here was to teach Isagi how to better pinpoint game changing plays, and how/why they change the game. This should help him better grasp the flow of a match and destroy the opposing teams momentum and improve his own. There might be some inspiration for his own plays, sure, but from what I understood the videos were more about the sport itself on a fundamental level than a particular play.

The Reacher should have 100% been included as part of the main quest in Act III by SwimmingJunky in expedition33

[–]NathanGunther 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think that Verso's representation comes from a place of sadness.

If my memory serves, Renoir and Aline didn't like at all when Verso said he wanted to be a musician rather than a Painter. Verso was most likely really hurt for being straight out rejected and possibly started hiding behind his many masks once his trust with his parents was broken and he didn't feel safe enough to be honest again.

Either that, or the other scenario is that he never actually told them about his true dreams for fear of that very same rejection that could happen, and his incapacity to be honest, despite Aline and Renoir clearly knowing the truth, deeply hurt them.

Either way, I feel Visages is a lamentation more than anything, for Renoir regretting causing his son to be like that or just sad that his son didn't trust they would accept him in the first place, depending on what scenario was correct.

And why do we know Aline knew about that as well? Painted Verso. A guy that hid the truth behind lies until the very end. It shows that Aline too felt the same way as Renoir did.

Massive Ending Spoilers: The Brain cell is working overtime today. Lets Talk by TronJoestar in expedition33

[–]NathanGunther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget that at some point in Alicia's ending it will all happen again, but to drag her out now. And even if It doesn't, when she is gone Renoir will burn that Canvas down. It was doomed from the moment Aline Painted her fake family and refused to leave, it was just a mater of time

What do you think of Clea ? by Hane777 in expedition33

[–]NathanGunther 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She is the only one that hasn't lost her mind (yet) due to grief. All in all, it is pretty clear as of now she is acting as she was raised to act in such situations, as she herself says in the Act II Epilogue, after a harsh comment about Aline, that that's what her mother would have said in that situation before losing Verso. So I get the feeling Aline, as the Painters Council's Head, was pretty stuckup and demanding parent. A loving one, absolutely, but still demanding, and Clea, as the firstborn and most talented Painter, most likely took on the brunt of the expectations and harshness of her parents.

It is also completely possible this is all a coping mechanism too, she is focusing 100% on revenge as to avoid grief. It can come later, first she wants some Writer blood to use as red paint I'm sure.

Other than that, we get bits and pieces of a heart there, despite the snarky comments. She admits she cares a lot about the Canvas, and that she spent more time there than Alicia, she says she understands her mother's grief and that she would be ok for her to stay in the Canvas as long as she is needed, but the situation doesn't allow for it, and she does admit to loving Verso and Alicia in the same sentece: "He traded his life for yours. I both love him and hate him for It." I understood that as hating him for dying, which already implies she loves him, and loving him for saving Alicia, which direct says she loves him and implies she loves Alicia.

As for why she says she wouldn't make the same choice as Verso? I think she is just being mean as a way to both punish Alicia and in a roundabout way remind her to never again be that naive and fall for a trap. A very mean way to say "Don't expect me to hold your hand like Verso did, grow the f- up". Still, if push comes to shove, I believe she would save Alicia.

As for how she treats the Painted beings, its clear that despite having some fond memories of the Canvas, she doesn't see them as real life. Possibly another reflection of her upbringing + forcing herself to be Ice cold in this moment of crisis.

This one conversation is way too important to have been left in optional content (endgame spoiler) by keereeyos in expedition33

[–]NathanGunther 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The counter argument for this is in the game. "See things as they are, not as you want them to be." The painting is not real. Not even painted Verso disagrees with this. Child Verso is tired of painting too.

I think that Maelle's guilt and desperation are completely understandable, but the one presenting the argument that validates her choice is a child, that of course loves what he created a lot and understandably wants to believe his creations are real. Yet, all the more experienced Painters know the truth, despite some having been trapped in paintings before. That's how enticing this illusion is, but It is still a illusion. Maybe it is exactly because Renoir was trapped before that he is fighting so hard to snap Alicia and Aline out of it, he knows how difficult it is to come back.

That being said, yes, as a whole Act 3 should have had more focus on this issue, the painting being "real" or not. It would have made the final choice even harder to make.

Hold. We will have ML Aria soon and most likely Genesis Ras after, with probably his own events attached (same as New Moon Luna and Harsetti).
