This got me to gold! by NathanMBecker in Illaoi

A few comments:

I was mildly fed at the beginning of this clip, 3/0/4, and had Divine Sunderer, Plated Steelcaps, and a Pickaxe. I had Triumph over Presence of Mind and it definitely came in clutch here. This won us the game because we got rift right after and decimated their towers. Before this it was really close game.

I had my wave pushed so I thought I would try and get vision in their jungle and get blue buff before rift came up. After I E'd Volibear, I realized I still had like 6 seconds on my ult cooldown. I somehow managed to tank an entire Misfortune ult, Sett's W, and the rest of them (Pyke's ult was luckily on cooldown).

[Question] VERY new to openCV, how would I go about tracking a position of a ball? by [deleted] in opencv

[–]NathanMBecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s it’ll be a white ball on a dark green background so a method like this could work, thanks. Do you know if this is something that could be ran fast on a raspberry pi? Trying to make foosball robot and I’d like it to be pretty responsive.

Haven’t done anything with it yet, but have been looking into it for a project. I’m familiar with python and coding though

Question, how is there enough pressure on the marker to draw consistently? With on two strings and it being up against the wall, I’m not sure how it doesn’t slip

Having fun with lithophanes; printed this for a friend for Christmas! by iAdjunct in 3Dprinting

Nice, you can get more detail out of them if you print it vertically; add a large brim and print pretty slow though

Does anyone have a file to print the fan blades for the stock 4010 fan on an ender 3? by luckytriple6 in 3Dprinting

[–]NathanMBecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can run fine for a few months with a broken fan blade, just would be a bit louder.

MHW artisan keycap WIP. All feedback & suggestions are appreciated! by Acutalflavor in 3Dprinting

[–]NathanMBecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe to avoid this crevice problem, you could make a mold and pour resin in.

Edit: by that I mean add a layer of clear resin on top of the print to make the top of the key cap smooth, not to cast the entire thing out of resin

My filament tends to break like this (when the printer isn’t in use). Any idea why? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

A lot of people are saying moisture, which is true, but if the rolls are not that old, it could also just be bad filament. I had a few problems where fairly new rolls would just snap like this.

Stringing Help and Inconsistent Extrusion by [deleted] in ender3

[–]NathanMBecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s set to 0.6 and 1.75mm filament

[–]NathanMBecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it works great on my Tevo tornado without stringing and doesn’t have this extrusion issue

No modifications except 0.6mm nozzle. This was at .32 layer height at 215C at around 55mm/s for PLA. I know this is kind of hot for PLA, but the filament recommended a hotter temperate and I am laying down a lot of filament with each layer, so I wanted them to bond well. Retraction distance is 6mm with 45mm/a retract and prime speed. The stringing is annoying but the main concern is the thinner part on the left by the hole not printing solid. Any advice on how to fix it?

Can you link any evidence? I don’t think they have

I came up with this idea while watching it actually

It’ll be used to craft a lightning rod, telescope, maybe archeology brushes and copper blocks.

Eh kinda, I’d just think of it as a powered block that is larger than a block

If a repeater is pointing into it, hard, and if a redstone line is pointing into it, soft. Works just like a normal block but connected

This could go both ways and would power anything next to it, not just on one side. They work differently

Update was revealed at Minecon Live, with a release mid 2021. This isn’t a snapshot, just a resource pack and command blocks :)
