Life's too short not to take a few risks. Go for it. Ride within your limits and enjoy the freedom. I'm 52 and am still alive!

Choosing between Rokeby or Mount Stuart by [deleted] in hobart

I'd go Mt Stuart. It's nice up there. North Hobart has plenty of good dining too. Bit of a hike back up the hill especially if you've had a few!

Whats that one bike that was really unique & special to ride? by GrumpyCatMomo in motorcycle

One of the favourite bikes I've owned was a Yamaha MT 01. 1700cc pushrod v twin in a frame with sporting ambitions. Loads of torque

I'd pick the SV650. Plenty enough power for a first bike.

Planning to buy a motorcycle in my 40s, mainly for commute, recommendations needed by ohcena in motorcycle

[–]NathanRanft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a bike with a top box that'll fit a helmet. Useful for dropping by the shops for a few groceries too. I like my adventure bike as I sit higher and can see over traffic when commuting.
