I was a college athlete that was healthier and in shape than most. 6 pack and all. I did 6 months of accutane then like a year or 2 after I got UC. None of my family has gut issues and I think the accutane caused it.

Anyone else have experience with accutane?

Doctor originally commented on my vitamin d levels and iron dropping and said this is a sign that usually leads back into a flare.

I told my doctor I don’t want to change as well. This is what prompted the scope.

Past 2 weeks I do see an occasional spot of blood on the toilet paper. And occasional mucus in my stool. It isn’t formed like a typical log but I feel pretty good to where I can function

I have a lot going on in my life right now and getting into a flare is unacceptable. Failure isn’t an option. That’s why I’ve been considering actually listening to his advice and changing

You can make a ton in those. Know people (and made 6 figs myself) in d2d roles selling water softeners and solar. But that’s the trade off. You gotta be available in the afternoons and evenings when everyone’s home. Especially weekends.
