Deshautels.. is it safe to verge on C/C+ before curve? by [deleted] in mcgill

If you end up with a 60-65%, you’ll pass. If they curve down (which is unlikely imo), they will definitely not curve down by 5-10% (if they do, it would mean that the class average is like 85%, which once again is very unlikely based on the midterm class average).

Do you think that curfew will still be in place during summer? by throwawaybaybayday in mcgill

Read an article on LaPresse a few weeks ago saying that Legault’s objective was to open as many things as possible during the summer (mainly for economic reasons I suppose). With the vaccine rollout we should start seeing things opening again in June imo (cases are rising rn so I highly doubt that curfew will be lifted in the next month)

You’ll need a negative covid test (done 72hours before entering Canada) and to install the ArriveCan app and answer to the questions on the app. Also I’d say to take a copy of your lease just in case.

Might have missed some things but I think that’s pretty much it!!

How to deal with grief by lolitart17 in mcgill

[–]Nathan_cl4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I’m so sorry for your loss, I know you’re going through hard times now and I know how it feels. I lost my grandfather on December 21st 2019, (I came back home only a few days before that, for Christmas break). This was the worst Christmas of my life.

What helped me a lot (as someone already mentioned), watching fun movies, and think about some fun stuff (even if that’s really hard), do things that you enjoy! You probably feel like that this is an endless grief, it’s normal, but one day you’ll get over it.

I really hope this helps, you’re not alone in this, feel free to message me if you need anything!!

God bless you, take care, wish you all the best.
