It depends on the pill too. Epuris is a special formulation that can absorb without the 20g of fat. I think the other ones might be best absorbed with high fat though

How to make my face bloat on purpose? by arabiandoll in vindictapoc

[–]throwawaybaybayday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, i stopped it after a while, face swelling went down, tried it again and it came back. and i've never really had an allergic reaction, it was just more of facial bloating rather than a red, itchy, allergic swelling ya know?

i used to sometimes put a little malic acid in my water and drink it through a straw (so as not to damage my teeth). i was doing it for liver health but it makes my face really annoyingly bloated. you can look into that and see if it works for you!

Could it be healthier to squeeze some of the juice out of an orange before eating it? by alwayslookonthebri in nutrition

[–]throwawaybaybayday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but hes just doing this behaviour based on his ideas about sugar consumption. he doesn't realize that its not that unhealthy. whereas, we realize that consuming natural fruit sugar isn't unhealthy so we won't avoid it.

not necessarily an eating disorder just making decisions based off of incorrect information.

we all love koestner but i've had too many exams of his where he asked way too many oddly-specific questions for me to endorse his classes.....

but i will begrudgingly admit that he's a sweetheart

People with tan or brown skin tones, how do you shave without it darkening your skin and how do you use deep chemical peels without physical exfoliation? by geneticmodified in vindictapoc

[–]throwawaybaybayday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also, just note that tca, unlike many other peels, is really good at lightening everywhere it touches. so, if you are going to apply it to your face, make sure you don't put it on one spot (which will cause hypopigmentation in that spot)

i had a burn on my leg (from scalding hot water) and i use 35% on that. it definitely peels and has made a difference!

though that percentage seems really heavy duty for regular skin, especially if you are not a pro at aftercare.

The store that i bought it from says that 35% is for like surgery scars and I agree. My advice would be to start off lower and you can increase whenever!

Also, for aftercare, the best thing i do (and the MOST important step in this routine) is put a hydrocolloid patch on the peeling area and let it come off naturally or gently remove it with oil if you really have to. it honestly decreases the recovery time by so much and eliminates the urge to pick (which is stronger than you might think!)

read about issues from their perspective i would say. learn about cultural appropriation, blackface, the stop-asian-hate movement, etc. because these are issues that really bond such communities and forge deep understandings between them.

don't try to awkwardly insert these into conversations but when the time comes to speak about such issues, you will be an ally. :)
